  don't know which saturday it is but it's an open house for the surrounding community.

  while on the your tour group , ask tough questions about the organization's policies on pedophiles and shunning.

  do this as a concerned citizen and not a "raging apostate" .

  yes, i used that line when questioned by someone as to why we no longer attend.. it needs to be used calmly and without any arrogance.

  according to prince’s wife, mayte garcia’s new tell-all book, even though the late star identified as a jehovah’s witness, he was also quite interested in scientology in the 90s!.

  the woman who was married to the rock icon for 4 years until 2000 revealed that another celebrity tried to convert him to the controversial faith.. however, it turns out that the singer chose to step away from the religion.. according to garcia, he thought scientology was “intriguing,” but ”i don’t need somebody telling me how to believe in my god.”.

  I'm 90% PIMO but events in Russia made me stop and think maybe Jehovah is real and helping

  i'm at the stage where i'd love a big scandal to come along showing clearly that the j.w's are not the true religion, but sometimes i get touched inside by various thoughts or events, the russian court trial being one of them.. i mean, j.w's are understandably fixated with attending the memorial, so why didn't the court say it will resume on monday or tuesday, instead setting wednesday 12 april as the date?

  part of me believes the comments from pro-j.w's that jehovah moved events so they could attend the memorial.. it seems the j.w's will not be banned, which makes my mind and heart wrestle between thinking jah's behind it, or maybe the ministry of justice is just woefully prepared compared to the superb australian royal commission team who did their homework.

  it surprises me the russians seemingly haven't done any homework..

  Imagine if Bernie Madoff, the worlds biggest Ponzi scheme architect stating "Someday,.. the authorities will come after me and make claims about the way I conduct business and will try to stop me from doing what I do" and when this happens it will prove that I was correct in making this statement and this will shore up your belief in me"

  This works on those that that have not done their research on Bernie Madoff.

  Also sometimes a persons belief in whether the wtbts is backed by a supreme being does not flip over instantly. It can be a transition. Sounds like your somewhere in there moving toward figuring it out but still have some residual cobwebs that need to be rooted out. I think most of us have/had a little bit of "what if"

  my wife and i were talking about how religions claim to be directed by god, yet god never seemed to let any of them know about the danger of sexual predatora to children.

  the it hit me, does the bible say anything on the subject?

  is there a thou shalt not diddle kids scripture?

  Wondering, since they don't need as many Kingdom Halls as planned, if they will allow congregations to amend the amount being donated monthly.

  Also is there any way to find out what what Kingdom Halls will be sold as compared to who holds the title?

  I imagine the ones being sold might lean heavily toward one side or the other.

  Would they want to sell the ones they have title or deed to or would they want to force the sale of the ones where the local body holds the title or deed?

  Not sure which one would benefit the WTBTS better.

  It was the only thing that crossed my mind at the moment. I agree with you now that it was inappropriate as it belittles the crime against the minor.

  But I can't see a way to edit it or delete it and start over. If I had to do it over I would replace

  "boinks" with "molest"

  I stated that this is a JW known to me,.. although I live in an adjoining state, I know his story and YES he is a Jw. What more do you need?
