  lloyd published a video, "things are bad," pretty much along the lines of lett's appeal for more money.. he'll have to let go tbo who does his editing, if he doesn't get more sponsor money.

  he even mentions dijana.

  he claims the defamation has hurt his family.. but he says the defamation suits are still ongoing and will take maybe years since it caused great harm to his channel saying that due to the defamation hundreds of his supporters dropped off because the defamation gave them the impression that he was someone he isn't and that led supporters to think he was misleading them somehow.. you can watch if you can sit through it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5hinrjexm4.

  So three days later Lloyd made his Things are Better video. (I won't post the link here, it makes me throw up a bit just thinking back at that video and how he is so giddily proud of his 666 sponsors).

  But what can one say? Are people really still continuing to support him? He once again says he is deleting anything negative towards him said in his channel.

  He says he was accused wrongly. But, I think there's enough there for critical thinking folks know better.

  He says he gives a damn about his work and worries about his little daughters and what they'd think if he doesn't continue with his defamation suit.

  He's gotten a job offer that was very tempting. But guess what, he doesn't want to leave TBO and Dijana "jobless". So I guess he'd rather be happier begging for money on YouTube than working.

  So he's going to ignore the haters and continue with his videomaking, but he's moving to cut costs. He had previously said he'd be back to doing videos from his bedroom to cut costs. Who knows what kind of job he'd been offered.

  If you support Lloyd why do you? If you don't support Lloyd what makes you not to?

  WT Lawyers response in Hines v. Watchtower CSA case 2/11/22

  it is the wt lawyers reply in the trial where deborah hines accuses wt hierarchy even governing body members of continuing to employ a known child abuser, her own dad, at bethel because he was indispensable to them in video-production.

  the slimy wt excuses start on page 7 of 28 where, as far as my non-legally mind can understand, the wt lawyers say the governing body can't get sued because they're not a corporation, nor are they mandated reporters of abuse, meaning they don't have to say anything by law even if they know a crime has occurred.. the slimy wt lawyers are also pretty good at playing with words to hide the fact that the governing body does run the business of the watchtower but from behind the scenes.

  It seems that the latest in the Hines v. WT case is that the stipulation for the case is discontinued by agreement among the defendants and plaintiff lawyers.

  In the above court document from January 23 it says:
  

  IT IS HEREBY STIPULATED AND AGREED, by and between the undersigned, the attorneys of record for Plaintiff DEBORAH HINES and Defendants WATCHTOWER BIBLE AND TRACT SOCIETY OF NEW YORK; THE GOVERNING BODY OF JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES; and JOHN AND JANE DOES 1-20, that whereas no party hereto is an infant or incompetent person for whom a committee has been appointed and no person not a party has an interest in the subject matter of the action, the above entitled action be, and the same hereby is, discontinued with prejudice, and without costs to any party. This stipulation may be filed without further notice with the Clerk of the Court.
  

  I've bolded the words which mentioned that the action be "discontinued with prejudice and without costs to any party".

  Does that mean a settlement out of court?

  OPINIONS PLEASE: I propose a new strategy against the Watchtower policy of DISFELLOWSHIP

  i need your opinion and a discussion...tell me what you think, both pros and cons...the governments of norway and russia have both targeted watchtower's severely inhumane policy of disfellowship separating and isolating members by ostracizing them and labeling them as 'mentally diseased", etc.

  dis fellowship.is a mushy concept unfamiliar to non-jw's.that word doesn't convey brutal, cold, and uncaring shunning and the impact on vulnerable persons cut off from family and friends.i propose swapping the phrase "religious apartheid" for the term "disfellowship" because it is significantly more impactful, familiar, and gut-wrenching.jw's teach practice and promote discrimination, opprobrium, and animus in punishing by isolation those who disagree with their doctrines.

  moreover - it is a de facto death sentence both spiritually and (according to the expectation of armageddon) literally as well.

  You are right, Terry.

  From the Australian proceedings, it was obvious the WT wanted to confuse and obfuscate the court, to the point of saying a person disfellowships him or herself and shun the congregation.

  Angus Stewart, though, did an excellent job of getting out exactly what the doctrine and practice of the JW/WT is in reality.

  Words convey ideas clearly if we understand the connotation and exact meaning. Otherwise, the same words can mean different things in different cultural and societal settings.

  Associating the WT doctrine and practice of disfellowshipping with relations in a way others can identify with, calling it religious apartheid, brings a deeper emotionally felt understanding to it.

  Kudos! I'll definitely start referring to it and describing it that way.

  Initial B is a preposition as you mentioned not part of the name. Are you saying it parallels with the name Baal? Because "in Baal" would be b'Baal" and in Yah would be "baYah". https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/%D7%91%D6%BE

  Cloud rider is definitely a Divine reference. That is why the Hight Priest threw a hissy fit when Jesus said he would see the Son of man coming in the clouds, and called it blasphemy.

  something jumped out at me that i never paid attention to while reading further into matt 26...in vs 28, he tells them his blood is to be poured out for the many for forgiveness of sin.

  but note vs 29 but i say to you: i will no menas drink again any of this product of the vine until that day when i drink it new with you in the kingdom of my father.

  cross reference luke 22:18 for i tell you , from now on, i will not drink again from the product of the vine until the kingdom of god comes.. what is the point of all of this: matt 26:29 " i drink it new with you " mark 14:25 " drink new in the kingdom of god.

  In fulfillment of Psalm 69 Jesus drinks of the fruit of the vine at the cross. It is the fourth and last cup of the Passover seder.

  JOHN 19:28-30 28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!” 29 Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. 30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He delivered up His spirit.

  The hyssop brings back to mind how the blood of the lamb was brushed onto the doorposts on the first Passover.
