  That lady "Anne" sounds like a grade A bitch. Seriously? Your own mother, the woman who birthed you and took care of you and sacrificed everything for your care, is treated like an unwanted rat. So disgusting it's unreal.

  most of my life i dreamed of hugging pandas and lions, punctuated at times by nightmares of armageddon or jw drama and politics.

  Welcome and sorry you had to get involved with this cult. It's good to hear that you taking care of yourself. I hope that soon your wife will also be able to wake up and both of you can come out together.

  What worked for my wife may not work for yours. I started planning weekend getaways that made us miss meetings. I used those opportunities to tell her how I felt about the organization and how depressed I was as an Elder. That seemed to work. I slowly shared little things with her and in time she too woke up. She is still in a bit mentally but she wants to get out and move on as well.

   Maybe try to plan things on meeting nights and see how that goes. Have lots of fun together and cement your relationship. Build friendships with outsiders and get close with your "worldly" relatives so you have a support system.

  What scriptural basis do they have for this direction? Was there an example that they "drew from?" Anyone that doesn't see a problem with that statement needs to get their head examined to make sure the old meat sponge is still there.

  The hall I attend currently has the lowest publisher hours in the circuit as well. It's been like that for years. Our last CO pretty much put us in a state of depression. He was a boring CO, his wife was trying too hard to be "hip" and it was a recipe for disaster. We used to be one of the highest in the circuit until that goon came along.

  Now everyone at the hall could really care less about serve us. I see pioneers going to Costco and buying wine and crackers when they are supposed to be banging on doors. Funny as this pioneer and Elder usually is the one complaining the most about low hours.

  A New Words With Friends Player Just Told Me That She Was a Jehovah's Witness And That's Why She's So Smart!

  i saw she went under the handle of lovejahforever.....she said she is very smart and had cleaning jobs and was going in the ministry this morning.. when she told me she looked forward to beating me (she won the first game) she sid she was smart because she's a jehovah's witness.

  my response was we will see how smart she is.. what next?

  Have her read Genesis 50: 22-23 and ask her how many generations of children did Joseph see in 110 years?

  Then have her look up the word "generation" and "contemporary" in the dictionary.

  110%3= 36.66 years for a generation.

  Ask her if dubs allow moms to breastfeed their babies?

  If she says yes, and I venture she will, then ask why can they breastfeed their babies but cannot accept a blood transfusion?

  If Jesus message was simply, "believe and be saved", why not go door to door and just ask the people if they believe? If they say yes, all done. Don't need to go there again. If they say no, tell them they are gonna die at the big A unless they believe. The householder can then change their mind.

  That method could save time and printing cost for all that watered down shit the dubs print.

  gee reading my earliest posts, i feel i arrived here needing a head transplant.

  of course we can't ban our earliest posts, and we can't claim we were misquoted, but then again think about it, many of us come here with geoffrey jacksons brains and mind control ruling our thinking.. so i looked back at my earlier posts, and i imagined the man i was who made them.

  to be honest i hardly recognized him, i feel infinitely a better and wiser less pious now, however i i don't feel so clever nor do i have such a deep religious faith.. anyway, the thread was made because i have often read posters past threads in order to get to know them better, but it never occurred to me to read my own past threads, and i learnt i am glad i had the guts to make my earlier posts, but the person that made them is in the far distant past.

  I could never imagine someone living that long in the new system. One screw up after the final test and your out!! ZAP!! God will smite all who even have a single rebellious thought in Zombie Paradise.

  Consider the thoughts of the 188 year old groom for a second. "Man tonight I'm going to bang my old lady!!!" ZAP!! He's dead cause he thought about banging. That's not wholesome in Gods eyes. He should have been thinking about family worship and singing those shitty songs, not banging... Fun times.😕
