Why do adults think its ok to impose their superstitious delusions on their children? Christian parents only pretend to let their children make their own decisions about god.They are dooming them if this is the case. The only way to be saved is to believe in your heart. You can be fooled in to thinking you are saved when you are in fact not. Also, as a side note, I don't have to preach to my daughter. She sees my life.

Not sure what I believe on several of the books inspirations, but I am 100% positive that what I'm learning it really teaches no religion or faith teaches.
I agree, as does my cousin and my husband, and surprisingly... the owner of jwinfo.net. Though we don't all agree with eachother 100%. lol
I have learned a lot about being non-denominational. Choosing a denomination or church to agree with is not what God has called us to do. It isn't necessary and can be harmful. My husband or I would love to stay in touch.

i was reading one of the posts here that 15 year old was df'd but he got reinstated in 5 months.
do you know of any case that someone got reinstated pretty fast after being df'd?.
I went to meetings for 9 months of pregnancy and 3 months with a newborn and I could have just waited for most of that time?

Not me. They said that they had to wait a year. I think it ended up helping me to rely on the org less though.

The JWs serve a false god who is bloodthirsty, harsh and demanding, with no humility, subjecting his people to mental abuse, denying them happiness, and teaching them to hate others. I would rather my kids serve no god at all.
The JW idea of faith is to never receive real help from their god, to never be sure if you will make it to their false hope of the new world that will still separate the "right" people (heaven and earth) and destroy all of the others. You prove your faith by subjecting yourself to more and more abuse and giving up more and more of yourself.
The God that I have come to know doesn't just sit back and watch you stumble and claw your way towards him and punish you if you don't make it far enough or quickly enough. As for faith, my God is with me to help me every day and has assured me of my salvation.

Jesus did not send us to correct and leave but rather to correct and save. Too many young have been left to find their own way in the darkness, this is not Christian.I agree.

At least my nieces and nephews have loving families and are getting an education and/or being themselves. I would never want them to return to that cult! They could be repressed, cut off from loved ones, condemned, and in abusive relationships. Save your kids from this evil cult please!

designs... there are some ex-JWs that eventually lose faith in the Bible, but most of them left the organization because of seeing that the org does not in fact follow it.
Jehovah's Witnesses believe in their religion because they believe that it is based on the Bible. Shatter that.
im a mormon now and have been one for the last 3 months.
at first i really liked it but now i am starting to have 2nd thoughts, i grew up as a jehovahs witness and was disfellowshiped at 19 i really started to look for a new church in july of this year.
i started out in a christian church which i really liked but i didnt understand the jesus as god thing/trinity.
