just got off the phone with must have been the 12th or so call this month i've gotten over this election.
i live in pennsylvania.
this one was from a place called the "judicial conformation network", an organization in favor of conservative judges.
I'm an independent voter in Florida, so I get calls from both sides. Got one today from Joe Biden. Lovely, huh? I get tired of hearing both of them.
illinois circuit 6 or 7 and mo 5, 1, 2, 10?
(southern iliinois/se/ne missouri) especially.... snakes (.
ps i have ties to the area.... pm me if you dont want to post publicly.
Weren't the Sondermans down in S. IL? I think they ended up in Cairo or Redbud or somewhere.
And of course you probably know the Berry family. They lived in Jackson / Cape for years. Still have a daughter in Ecuador or somewhere. Dave and Jenny ended up moving up to DeSoto, MO where they still practice their sanctimonious ways. It was hell when their house was the only thing between me and the KH. They were terrible neighbors.

"all propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach.
the last few weeks, the republicans have laid down truth because the truth is their policies aren't best for this nation right now... instead they have resorted to lies because they'll do anything to win... .
Everyone is treating the word "socialism" like it's an inherrently bad thing. What about social democracies in scandanavia? They seem to have their stuff together pretty well. The redistribution of wealth is a constant, the only difference is in which direction the wealth flows. When it's republican / conservatives...it flows to the wealthy...when it's a democrat, it flows the other direction.
just to change topic from all this doom and gloom going on around these parts, makes me feel all queasy as if i'm attending watchtower ... so how about some country?
i love country music, always have.
just listening to to some right now ... so here we go.
Momz...Chris's story is an amazing one...even up to the day he died. Garth Brooks wanted to donate a kidney to him.
I can't believe I forgot this classic artist...way under-rated

I've always liked David Allen Coe. Talk about a guy with variety...
(of course, I don't condone his underground overtly racist stuff)

Now, can you believe the same guy does the lead vocals for this:
It's basically DAC backed by Pantera with Hank Williams III on backup vocals....
I thought it was pretty cool stuff.

When I listen, I'm a fan of the Classic Country. I like lots of stuff from the 1980's and earlier. I love me some George Jones, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Jerry Reed, Vern Gosdin, Don Williams, Bill Anderson, Mel Tillis, Porter Waggoner, Buck Owens....oh, I could go on and on. If it's country, put some twang in that thang.

One of my sisters has been diagnosed with D I D. She's been in therapy for quite a while now. She's made progress and has a pretty good handle on watching for trigger behaviors in those around her. She doesn't switch to alters like she used to, they are still there, but not manifest like they used to be.
She's really working at therapy and at learning more about this disorder.
i finished reading "atlas shrugged" by ayn rand yesterday.
like reading crisis of conscience it will forever alter the way i look at many many things.. this paragraph is only a small part in this amazing book, if you ever have a chance to read this book, try.
it's about a thousand pages, you can't just skim through.. i just want to share this....... "what is the nature of the guilt that your teachers call his original sin?
Rand takes almost 1000 pages of bad writing to make her case for the flawed ethical theory of "ethical egoism". She puts forth in all of her works a false choice between only doing what is in one's self intrests and betraying ones self through acts of altruism. I know there are many who seem to feel that eithical egoism has merit. In fact, Alan Greenspan is a Rand Devotee. Many top tier conservatives subscribe to Rand's philosophy. The biggest thing with Rand is to remember her roots. Her family were immigrants who lost their businesses in the Bolshevik revolution. Her theory of ethical egoism is nothing more than a severe reaction to her personal experience with communism.
I think Anthem explains her philosiphy just as succinctly, but does it in 105 pages instead of 900 +. Don't waste your time.
