I have an Associate's Degree in general studies and I am about half way through my BS Ed in middle grades language arts. I'll be attending grad school seeking a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology. I'm pretty sure, since I'm going anyhow, that I'll seek a PhD as well - but I'm not sure on the specific focus - but to work in post secondary education, you pretty much need it to make a career out of it.

by elm inhi everyone, just wondered..... i like nothing more than after hard days work sitting down with a glass of red wine and watching a bit of tv.. sad i know but i love csi and law and order and some other american programs, do any of you watch any uk tv?

Do you miss a place to connect with others?

after fading away a couple of years ago and going through the stages of transition away from the wts anger, disappointment with them and with myself for staying so long and now disgust at their harmful doctrine i no longer think of myself as an ex-witness.. recently i have had a longing to check out other groups.. i recently went to a buddhist meditation but the religious symbols didnt feel right to me.
the people were warm, welcoming and genuinely interested in me.

I joined an auto club. I met one of my best friends there. I think that some have the misconception that the association has to be of a spiritual nature- but that's simply not the case. Get a hobby and associate with the group in an amount commensurate with your liking of meeting up with others.

One of the problems is that, for some reason, wealthy people act like they created their wealth within a vaccum. They became wealthy using the infrastructure that ALL taxpayers support. If they are profiting off of it at a higher rate, I see no problem with them acknowledging it with their corporate checkbooks.

Do you get hassled for posting here frequently?
by sabastious inmost people in my life that know how frequent i post on this forum find it very troubling.
i have often been accused of "not being able to let go.
" i don't agree that i post here because i'm not willing to let go, i think i post here because i think this place helps other people and i want to be part of it.

My wife will sometimes say things about my not being able to let go because of my time spent in converstation with other ex-dubs. However, she knows that I can't really let go because my daughter is still very much "in" and having to deal w/ how that cult affects our relationship has everything to do with my need to still talk to others and deal with this in my own way.

Hey, come on...even Achmedinejad says Kadaffi is crazy and his use of violence against his own people is unacceptable...and that guy KNOWS crazy!
You have to keep in mind that all these reports quote Libyan government officials - all of whom have a vested interest in portraying the rebels and any intervention in the most unflattering and unsympathetic way possible. Not to say that civillians might not be harmed, but that numbers can be exaggerated, etc.

crazy jw ex wife shoots herself in the foot, again
by Aussie Oz inyou would think she would learn.. but being the vindictive bitter woman she has alowed herself to become, i guess she can't.. last time she threatened me with less visitation and told me to get a lawyer, she lost big time and had to concede much compared to what she wanted to take away.. this time she 'dobs' me into the child support angency for being in arrears and not paying the correct amount.
both not true as i have signed delivery of all payments and i actually pay her a little more than i have to.
but the foot shooting is that by making a request to the csa to collect the money from now on, they have to review the case and based on the more time my daughter gets since april last year they say they will reduce the amount... on top of that i can have my sons case closed now as he is fulltime employed which would futher reduce the amount i pay.

Oz...I feel ya, brother! I have to pay ex-wife support for just a few more months. My daughter will be 18 in October, then I won't have to pay any longer. Especially since it's been over 4 years since I've seen my daughter. I have money set aside if she wants to come down and go to college, but her mom won't get any more of it, that's for certain.
