  Spanking WT in Benton KY

  well we did it, 45 people were present for the first candle light vigil for silentlambs around the world.

  holly and heather berry were there along with many other victims who told stories, sung songs, and recited poems that were self composed to help them deal with abuse issues.

  there were many touching moments where you could feel the heartbreak and pain suffered by the expressions made.

  It is just so nice having a brother like Bowen who loves to dwell together in unity. My what a loyal and loving brother he is. He gets joy out of spanking the wt. This man is a true brother. Preach on, brother Bowen. No way he should be df for causing divisions.

Physicists also work with a priori ideas that they take as givens, notions without which thought would be impossible. One should not be amazed therefore if Non now argues that there are ideas that are necessarily true (they obtain in every counterfactual situation) which cannot be proved true. Conversely there are also ideas that do not contradict any formal logical schema; however, they may be false in all possible worlds.

  One example: "nothing is red and green all over" (at the same time or in the same way). Paul Davies insists that one can deny this proposition without contradicting any formal logical scheme. But any such denial is probably false in all possible worlds. Rational substances therefore affirm the proposition's validity and soundness. It is a necessary a priori proposition. Logical necessity requires that the proposition "nothing is red and green all over" obtain in all counterfactual situations.

  What about the proposition, "God does not exist"? Davies maintains that the denial of God's existence does not contradict any formal logical scheme either. Yet the proposition could be false in all possible worlds. Could it be the case that the proposition "God exists" is an a priori necessary proposition that obtains in all possible worlds and that while we have good reason for believing the proposition is true, we cannot prove that it is factual?

  Maybe the words "God exists" are similar to "Doug cannot prove this statement is true." Can you prove the last proposition is true?

  Why must you lie? No one made any gun threat. Get real. All non said is that you best watch who you mess with these days. Just because someone is a Witness does not mean you can tell them FU to their face constantly or accost them in the street and seek to commit an act of violence. It might get one shot. That is no threat. It is reality, my friend. I also made it clear that I neither own a gun, want a gun, nor approve of persons carrying guns. You, my friend, are lying.

  in a previous thread dmouse mocks me for giving a serious reponse to what i see as a serious question about infinity from pubsinger.. it said that " it has nothing to do with reality, its just a logic problem " or some crap to that tune.. ok dmouse to appease yourself to the board, and buy back face, i ask you the following.

  please answer according to the " obvious law " you imposed on me.

  The question presupposes that we know what time is. But do we? Non says no we do not.

  If you can define time--you deserve a nobel prize. The human mind simply cannot satisfactorily prehend, comprehend or apprehend the notion of time. We finite participants in Dasein can only take stabs and make guesses in relation to the nature of time.

  But scientists have said that there is a something called Planck time. Does this maybe answer your question? Could Planck time be the minimum value of time?

  No I do not. Let me make my meaning transparent. This is something which I failed to do earlier.

  When I used the phrasing "the truth" I meant actuality, reality or in Augustinian terms, God. So an enemy of the truth, as used here, refers to someone who either intentionally or inadvertently opposes God--who is truth. Take Carl Sagan as an example.

  True, according to the jw model, both apostates and some non-apostates oppose God by means of the written text. Yet the Witnesses differentiate between those who supposedly knew Christ and abandoned him and those who never knew him to begin with, Dutchie. So I too make a distinction between enemies of truth who have never known God and those who seemingly know him, then desert the God of truth.

  Where is the Great Crowd?

  this post is mainly for non_trias_theos - but any of you who are jw's feel free to respond.

  i know this should probably be posted on the bible research board, but being that "non" is a newbie i wasn't sure he'd check there.. question - where is the great crowd?.

  read the verses (revelation 7:9) in revelation that refer to the great crowd (or multitude) and tell me where they are in those verses.

  The present understanding of jws is that the great crowd stand in sight of the throne. There may be some validity to this in the light of Revelation 20:11, 12. Please consult Revelation 20 and see what ya think.
