On the fading of 1914 ............

forgetful as i am, i just forgot the title of the new brochure issued at this summer's conventions, but it is something like "keep on the watch", and it deals with the imminent return of christ, the signs of our times, and the need for being on the watch, being prepared for the "any day now" return.. the signs of our times are mentioned, but not earthquakes, so they are "out" again, it seems.

but, the first pages make out the basis for the belief in our days being the last ones, the final ones, and 607 is mentioned, 539 and 537 - but not 1914, not the "seven times" or "2520 years".. do you remember 1995, when the "generation change" came?

in summer, the "knowledge" book was issued, and it also dealt with the signs etc., but for the first time, there was no mention of the then "present truth" that some alive in 1914 would still be alive and witness the return.

This is your old friend Norm. Interesting points you bring up, well observed. Notwithstanding the 1914 generation, there is one remaining great difficulty with the date 1914 from the WTS point of view. Ever since "Booze" Rutherford tried to salvage the remains of Russell's hopeless "chronology" and made 1914 the "peg" that he hanged his "new" chronology upon. You must Remember that according to that "truth" Jesus "parousia" started that year (1914), and after some years of "inspection" Jesus choose the WTS as his sole agent to take care of his "affairs" on earth. According to all this insane drivel, Jesus was appointed King in 1918/1919. I know that most dubs today don't know jack shit about any of this but 1914 is still the foundation of WTS "theology" as it was all inherited from the grand master of religious claptrap, drivel and insantity Rutherford.

Of course we all know that God keeps your genitals under close surveillance at all times, this no doubt explains why he doesn't have the time and interest to take care of all the starving and sick people in the world. Your genitals always have first priority.

The author makes this very interesting observation: "This can give great pleasure to each of them."
This indicate that the writer had at least some knowledge of the female side of the proceedings as they don't have much chance to find out about any pleasure during those 15 seconds the whole thing takes from start to finish. But then again, one should be careful about using "sacred organs" too much. Remember this folks when you shower, always clean the "sacred" parts with the correct motive.

Danish accuser admits it was all just lies!

the danish newspaper which has told so many stories about youths being molested in denmark by jws recently, today brings the story that the woman who came forth with the most sensational ones of these stories, how she and others were molested by groups of elders during baptismal preparations etc.

- to the police has admitted it was all nothing but lies.. i just wonder if silentlambs and the danish posters here will be as quick to bring these news and the translation out to the people just as quickly as they did when the original story was given by the newspaper?.

23 year old woman avoid slander charges from the sect

Confronted with the risk of slander charges from the immensly rich Jehovah-sect the 23 year old Miriam Poulsen from the Faroe Islands suddenly has withdrawn her story about sex-abuse.

On April 29th the young woman told her story to Ekstra Bladet, that she as 12 years old had been subjected to sexual advances from a so called ?elder? in Jehovah's Witnesses in Thorshavn.

The sexual advances had allegedly happened while Miriam prepared for her baptism which was done in a basement under the Jehovah-sects kindom hall.

In this connection Miriam told about other girls in the sect who also had told her about sex abuse from men in the sect. All the girls were ashamed and feared reprisals, if they told their parents.

But all of this is lies and fabrications, she now says, and she has had to sign a declaration to Jehovah's Witnesses ? in order to avoid prosecution.

?Pure fabrication?

In the declaration from May 28, Miriam has undersigned that her story to Ekstra Bladet was ?pure fabrication? and that she has told the same to the Thorshavn police.

Chief of the Crime squad Bergleif Brimvik can not confirm this however, but he says that after having interviewed Miriam Poulsen don?t have reason to pursue the 10 year old case.

The sects spokesman in Thorshavn, Otniel Nygaard denied on Faroe Radio on May 29 that Miriam was threatened to withdraw her accusations.

- We have had no contact with her. It is our lawyer who has handled it, says the Jehovah spokesman.

- And he didn?t make any threats?

- No, we have only considered prosecuting for libel, says the spokesman in the radio interview.

Miriam Poulsen has gone ?underground? for a long time now says her friends, and Ekstra Bladet has been unable to get in contact with her for a month.

- That?s why we have to accept her personal written retraction of the story. If the whole thing was ?pure fabrication? we regret that we have passed on the detailed story, says Chief editor of Ekstra Bladet Bengt Falbert.

Amazing and Tyydyy,

Yes indeed, women shouldn't talk disrespectfully to men. I mean what are the world coming to. Here we have intelligent women talking back to MEN! Human beings with penises, and they are even "gasp" using foul language! And this even after they were "pleaded" with. Unheard of, unthinkable! Can't have women like that at large in this wonderful commuinity. A community where you can be as nasty and evil as you want if you don't use foul and "filthy" language.

A community like any other anglo american where FORM is always far more important than content. I hope that all of you poor victims will be able to get over the horrible ordeal and the hideous abuse you apparetly have suffered in the hands of these evil women.

At the moment it is quite nauseating for others to watch all the high fives and back slapping of the alleged victims. Don't forget to at least pretend to suffer a little the next time. Your behavior is extremely unbecoming for the downtrodden poor souls you claim to be.
