at the 1994 district convention in bismark, north dakota, (could possibly have been 93) my sister wrote a note to her friend and tossed it in the garbage.
the note contained a discussion about going to boy's hotel rooms after the sessions ended, and other troublesome activities, including lying to the parents about what my sister and her friend were doing.. presumably, an attendant found this note in the garbage and turned it into the elders.
on the last talk of the last day of the convention, the note was read out loud to the entire audience, along with the warning that "whoever you are, we will find you.
This smacks of Urban Legend Status as stated above!!!As somebody still in the Org, this typoe of thing, announcing from the platform is not correct. I am not saying somebody's curiosity did not get the best of them, but Noway it was Announced from the stage....

just back from "worldly" funeral of close relative!

I seem to remember a thread on Old H2O about this!!It was a very emotional weekend to say the less. I was pi$$ed about not having been closer to my dear relative.

was listening to the radio today on the internet, a station out of ther midwest.the subject came up about the infant who had surgery without blood.the talk show host raised the question about transplants and jws and the blood issue!
!a caller called in and it was a jw.he cited the scripture at acts, yada yada and mentioned that transplants were ok.but the host put the question to him about the transplant having blood in it.he fumbled around and said well they, like the meat we eat, probably drained all the blkood out first before transplanting the organ.the host replied they couldn't do that in order to have the transplant to be successful!!

I used to blitz thru the 'Tower underlining the "Lesson", so everybody would think I studied!!!Sometimes occasionally putting "stars" and "asterisks" in the margin!!!!

Thanks for responding.But DriveslikeJehu, I am in an interesting position with the College thing.It has only been 15 yrs since I graduated.The economy in the States has been Awesome!!No this College thing is all about knowledge outside of Mother(org)!!Thgey realized window washers and janitors could not make it in Good Economy!!
