  Pioneer School scare tactics

  i just talked with a pioneer who came back from school and she said that at the end there was emphasis put on two things.. 1: stay loyal to the governing body and their teachings.. 2: beware of propaganda.

  they said that in wartime the enemy will use propaganda to break the spirit of or confuse the troops.

  they said the same things is happening now, so reject negative reports about the organization.. this pioneer (who is fully pimi btw and enthusiastic about it) said she asked her cotboe about if we really have that problem here.

  In fact, some friends told me that when quite a few Bethelites and pioneers move in the town/city where these companies are located, they can become employed by these businesses, so that they can also maintain their spiritual standing in the Borg. However, also, to be hired, it's not what they know (i.e., longevity in the Borg, how much biblical/organizational "knowledge" they possess,etc.) but who they know (i.e., "Well, since you know Brother and Sister Haughty/Stuck-Up, there is definitely a position we have lined up just for you!").

  we all have many reasons for leaving, most are doctrinal, some are emotional.

  it's a religion which obsesses over factual proofs (counterfactual though they are) of its veracity rather than faith, so it's inevitable that most who leave will do so for intellectual reasons.

  which doctrine above all others forced you to reconsider your position?

  For many reasons, particularly the culture set up by the GB (shunning, blood ban, pedophilia/child abuse issue, hierachy/classist/cliqueish attitudes, etc.). This is definitely a corporation, not a religion!

  i remember reading once about some young pioneer sisters who needed emergency accommodation and where turn away from brooklyn because they weren’t special pioneers.

  Hell, Bethel doesn't even look after the well being of the R&F (PIMI or PIMO) whenever they are in dire financial straits or not.

  Many JDubs (like myself) who have experienced financial problems had to fend for themselves without the "support" of the Borg. The only rhetoric from the elduhs, which the brothers and sisters always receive is: "Wait on Jehovah, and He will provide in due time", plus "Remain faithful to Jah and His Organization, and you will receive blessings--hopefully employment that will not interfere with meetings and field service" and the so-on like.

  Bottom line=> The H8teful 8 GB don't give a damn about anyone else but themselves (as we can see from they're crying constantly for donations, the real estate sales of Brooklyn Bethel/many KHs and especially Warwitch)!

  WTBTS – assistance following an incident at bethel

  i haven’t posted for quite a while as i needed a break – although i have been lurking.. can anyone confirm if the wtbts give assistance to someone who has been involved in an incident whilst working at bethel and, as a result, must leave?.

  the reason i’m asking is that, back in the 80’s, i knew a sister who was in bethel service.

  she was assigned to the cleaning department.

  I remember going on a Bethel tour. The brother (young guy, mid to late 20s or so) was our guide. Something I noticed was off about the situation: His left arm was in a sling and his right hand was bandaged. One of my very curious cousins asked him what happened to him. His answer: "I was very clumsy and fell into one of the machines (bindery or printer--I can't recall). But it's not too bad. I still have to fulfill my assignments. Thanks to Jehovah it wasn't worse than this!". Hmmmmm. . . . . .

  Also, a Bethelite who was close to my exfiance's family married a sister; and they were accepted at Brooklyn Bethel. One really/very off (as in strange off): She was an amputee--no lie! Sister was missing a few fingers and a thumb ==> two fingers and the thumb on her right hand, plus another two fingers and half of a thumb on her left! We (my family members plus friends of mine and my exs) after meeting her were very shocked. She was doing work at WHQ, regardless of her condition/status. Moreover, didn't WT state in their Bethel applications that "all applicants should be of sound mind and body" and "physically fit to accomplish any tasks put before them"? Hmmm. . . . . . .

  And the GB has the utter nerve/gall to constantly counsel the R&F about the quality of their service which would be not acceptable to Jehovah ("no sacrifices resembling lame, blind, or sick animal offerings). Hmmmm. . . . . . .

  there is a public talk given by tight pants tony on youtube titled "the real armageddon, why, when"his talk, as usual, doesn't make much sense.

  he says armageddon is not a nuclear holocaust or an asteroid hitting the earth it's god's war against all the political nations of the earth.

  he talks about a celestial phenomenon that will be phenomenal.

  TOMO again is saying all of the above to put: FEAR in the minds and hearts of both the PIMIs and PIMOs (especially PIMIs), so that the R&F of either group will feel/stay OBLIGATED plus stay/feel GUILTY. As a result, continue to give blind loyalty to him and his GB club-bretheren.

  After reading the comments of freedomrocks and PE, I was having some gnawing thoughts about what could happen if the GB gets mentally-insanely eager/anxious to show the R&F and the rest of the world their so-called "power":

  I hope and pray that they do not institute a food and drink/beverage arrangement at any of the KHs, CAs and RCs. I hope and pray that they do not commit a copycat crime resulting in a Jim Jonesque/Heaven's Gatesque massacre--just to also prove their point--and blame God Almighty or Jesus Christ for this ("This is coming from our God and Reigning King/Redeemer of above! We all must be loyal to them! So, drink and eat all of what is being given to you!!").

  I know what I posted sounds creepy (or even chilling), but anyone who is PIMO and PIMI should get away from the Borg (whether or not something like the above would occur) before it's too late. . . . . because who knows what those $#6+$ in Warwitch might think and do!

  Regarding Clip#2: IMHPO, the GB are trying to separate families in the Borg. They want:

  (A) Total reverence/worship and control over the R&F. No closeness of family members, even if all involved are PIMI; and

  (B) Just in case, some family members may wake up to TTATT, those 8 control-freaks don't want the awaken ones to reveal and finally influence the others (who may have some doubts and may be PIMO; and even PIMI). They totally are scared that this may happen--in fact, the above is happening and have happened in a number of families already.

  I really want to thank, in addition to Lloyd, the brothers and sisters who made it possible for this "Warwitchy-Leak".

  don't know if this is a global thing but i've just been told by a pimo member of my old congregation that a min servant has been given the task of destroying all old books/literature in the kh library prior to 1992.. could be the elders (or even one of them) on a mission to stamp out dissent as my ex-wife used the same reasoning to her elder dad that i used in my jc: rutherfords books containing failed predictions.. anyone else heared anything?.

  the ms who's been given the task is a company man.

  no hope of him keeping them or selling them on ebay.. they have some russell books in that library too.

  They really don't want any newbies to find out the real info. re: 1975 plus other failed prophecies and what was really going on in the early history days of the Borg. {I'm very suspicious==> the GB must be gearing things to make sure no one new knows anything extra in the Borg's past!}

  PE, is this occurring only in that particular cong or is this happening in other congs in the area?

  i was sitting at the kingdom hall thinking about all the rules, procedures, policies, teachings that each member must follow ......or else!.

  at the watchtower study we are reminded of the paradise earth where we will all be the same and happy.

  Yes, some R&F I know go out less and less in the ministry. Some have even lost or have no desire to even get ready to go out--although way the cart witnessing is conducted plus pointing folks to jw.org is supposed to be no-brainer easy!

  I'm sure as we here on the Forum all know that the Borg is a complete letdown; and since the internet with TTATT revealing what they are all about, the R&F who are PIMO, are also becoming disenchanted with this corporation, if not now anyways. Goody!
