  i've been out for over 20 years and really can't keep up with the doctrinal and physical changes.

  WarWITCH is also a good location for members of GB2.0 (and their Helpers) to AVOID plus HIDE away from any journalists (and perhaps exdubs) from trying to either interview or wanting to speak with them. A few years ago when Bethell was in Brooklyn Heights, ANTMO was approached by a journalist and ran into a door within one of the buildings on Columbia Heights. He obvi didn't want anyone speaking to him unless it was CERTAIN R&F members. This compound is FORTRESS and THE CURTAIN for this organization's leaders to hide behind.

  Has Anyone Had any JWs PHYSICALLY Put Their Hands On You (And Not Within A Family Unit Situation)?

  i was asking the above question because a pomo friend of my family told me about an incident involving her and a couple of dubs who were physically abusive in the past.. a single sister who was running around from one cong to another cong looking for a husband.

  she was visiting my friend's cong for less than a year.

  there was a commuter bethellite bro who was very friendly towards my friend (which i'll call her "q") and her fam members.

  I was asking the above question because a POMO friend of my family told me about an incident involving her and a couple of dubs who were physically abusive in the past.

  A single sister who was running around from one cong to another cong looking for a husband. She was visiting my friend's cong for less than a year. There was a Commuter Bethellite bro who was very friendly towards my friend (which I'll call her "Q") and her fam members. This sister zeroed in on the friendly relationship Q and the bro had. Each time Q and the bro would conversate, this chick would try to interrupt them on a constant basis. It got so bad to the point that the girl would start arguments and was very confrontational to Q at every meeting and in field circus. In fact, she suddenly ran up to Q and shoved her, causing Q to fall down and scrape her knees! The cong's BOE was told since this was seen by a few other dubs. After the bitch saw that she was caught and an elduh or 2 was doing to speak with her, she left and was never heard from again.

  Another incident was when a local-yocol brother tried to verbally harass one of Q's female cousins. He was pestering her because he wanted to date her. Q's cuz (I'll call her "Z") informed him that she was not interested in him. This happened for approximately 3 years. Z's parents [mother was PIMI and father was VZ (Visitor: a person who studied with the dubs, attended some KH meetings, CAs and RCs but did not progress to dedication nor baptism)] also informed him that their daughter was not interested and warned him to stay away from her. This bastard started yelling and pulled Z by her elbow. Q and Q's brother (now DA'd) pulled her back. He approached them and yelled in the male cousin's face but pushed Q down on the floor of the KH! The cong's BOE brought the MFer into a backroom meeting; unfortunately, very little was done about the fact that the freak physically harmed Q. A month or 2 later, Q's family along with Z's family left and changed congs.

  I know that this is a long-drawn-out thread, but did anyone have encounters with CRAZY, MANIACAL dubs while you were in the cultcorporation?

  what do people usually think of when they buy a house?

  "i will probably live here for a long time" (you're invested with your time), "i will save money by building equity over time".

  (you've invested in yourself financially for the long run) of course, i wouldn't be able to list the numerous reasons why people want to buy a house.

  @LongHairGirl=> I agree with what you posted about the dubs who now do not have anything financial to lean back on because of their listening and living their lives intently/exclusively for this cultcorporation. The Borg/WT wants them to give all of their $$$$ to them that would NORMALLY be given/paid for a house and other activities/ pursuits (higher education, hobbies, entertainment, and so forth). As the R&F/membership gets POORER and POORER, WT gets RICHER and RICHER, much more WEALTHIER by the minute; so much unlike other cults/ religions who want their members/parishioners to succeed in life (Scientology, Mormons, to name a few).

  Miniimizing 'Punishment' - marrying a non-JW

  i’d like to marry my best friend of 30+ years, turned ‘secret’ girlfriend of 1 ½ years who is a jehovah’s witness, born into it, baptized and an active ‘pioneer’.

  our marriage would happen prior to letting any of her jw friends and cohorts know that we are together.

  once married she may simply come forward and ‘admit’ or we may wait until it’s found out – one way or the other, the reason for this marriage is not customary – i am hoping that by doing so she can avoid being ‘marked’ or possibly ‘disfellowshipped’ once our relationship is no longer a secret and due to our already being married at that point, there can be no notion from society elders about her ending the relationship.

  In most cases, a disfellowshipping will ensue once found out by the nose of the elder body. Even before marriage, she can get caught with you in her house and be accused of fornication which is a disfellowshipping outcome. It would be by a nosey fellow JW who sees you too together.

  That's very true in that some dubs who were seen being hugged by someone of the opposite sex were requested by their cong's BOEs and pulled into the backroom for a small JC. I know of a situation where this happened and the sister--who was quickly hugged by a coworker who drove her home from her job--was put on PRIVATE RESTRICTION/REPROOF for this happening. When it comes to the Borg/WT, ANY LITTLE THING sets them off!

  @Listener==> One Super PIMI sister who was formerly close to one exdub family member of mine was ecstatic after hearing a talk where one of the GB(2.0) claimed that "Jehovah had a hand in influencing humankind's medical community to create the COVID-19 vaccine" and "Since this is the case, we as Witnesses can continue to still preach and get people to come to worship him and come to His kingdom for salvation! Our God is magnificent, everyone!" and other declarations such as these--which we all SIDE-EYED.

  WT is not giving humankind any credit for these scientific advancements. They want people to feel that the diety they are worshipping deserves it all.

  it was the best fun we ever had together.

  I say this because from the PIMOs myself and my exdub family members know that they are counseled not to engage in a whole lot to a few RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES. Hell, there are eldubs, MSs, RPs, and AXPs (Auxiliary Pioneers) telling other dubs with the same titles not to go to the movies, concerts, or get engrossed in sports, including going to a local gym or sporting club for their own health, fitness, and wellness! All because WT really wants the R&F to spend time in their cultcorporation's pursuits and give the $$$$ that is usually spent on having REAL/NORMAL FUN donated to line their damn pockets/coffers!

  @Foolednomore and @LongHairGirl, this cultcorporation undoubtedly LIED about them helping not only dubs but also nondubs on that day. They unsurprisingly did so in order to not only make themselves look good--because it's all about appearances with WT anyways--but also to work on the minds and hearts of NIs (Never Ins) and get them converted--to eventually get these people's $$$$$. They in actuality-reality don't care nor give a damn about anyone else but themselves--even in times of crisis!

  what is the purpose of wearing masks and to sit keeping distances if you shake hands and hug each other before and after the meetings?.

  It makes no sense--especially for the attendees who have breathing issues while wearing masks for long periods of time. Some of my PIMI and PIMO family members who since the beginning of the pandemic because of not been able to wear masks for more than 15 to 30 minutes at a time, have to leave indoor areas (i.e., malls, business establishments, etc.) to go outside in the open air to catch their breaths and breathe in oxygen from the outside atmosphere. So, since the Borg wants the R&F to stay stagnant for 2 hours or more in the KHs, this new arrangement is in actuality UNNECESSARY and is a WASTE OF TIME to the members and any visitors who come to the KHs for those indoctrination sessions. #WTBITESTHEDUSTAGAIN!

  question for former elders:.

  how much of your time was spent quelling gossip and rumors floating around.

  i'm not talking about csa type stuff, just regular insignficant stuff that people occupied their time over..

  There was always, within the past congs my family members and I went to, a plethora of gossip and slander. It didn't matter whether a dub was PIMI (Super or Plain), PIMO, or PIMQ, in addition to the POMOs, DA'd and DF'd exjws. If a dub DIDN'T PERSONALLY LIKE NOR RESPECT another dub, there was bound to be slander/hearsay--even if the info was about something very minute. The Borg has also subliminally influenced their membership--in addition to some who have had issues in this area prior to conversion and this cultcorporation exacerbated these--to be suspicious, therefore causing some of the R&F with these personality traits to become the worst tattletalers out there!

  Also, as a former RP, I had brothers, uncles, and cousins who were elduhs and MSs. They divulged, after their leaving the Borg, all about the above and more.

  The Borg well knows due to the internet and other research resources that there are a plethora of dubs (yung wuns, in particular) who are getting to know TTATT and waking up. So, they maintain subliminal control in order to continue their main objective: $$$$$$$, this cultcorporation is begging for these yung adults to stay in the organization and move up the corporate ladder as company men.

  Hopefully, for those who are waking up, they will realize that WT doesn't really give a damn about them. These should endeavor to attend college/university and embark on stable careers. This corporation disguised as a religion is a Taker and not a Giver!
