  i find a number of pimo jw friends enjoy youtube for some reason.

  The ONLY worthy thing about CAs and DCs/RCs/ICs I miss is THE FOOD WT, through other contracted companies, provided back in the day when they had dubs and non-members purchase tickets. The frozen puddings (any flavor), hoagies, and hamburgers were my favs. It's a shame that WT eradicated this arrangement. They've made it harder and more cumbersome for families-- especially the ones who had to make their meals--to deal with all of that. Makes a person wonder if the leadership wanted to make things difficult for the membership anyways! 😖😫

  All of these hierarchy appointments are made via PERSONAL SELECTIONS, and NOT on a real SPIRITUAL basis. If the selection was according to BIBLICAL criteria: Race, age, and possibly gender, wouldn't be prerequisites. It would be like other religious organizations. But no, WT is not anything like the others--in fact, they pride themselves on not being like the others!

  Dreading the memorial

  hey.

  does anyone else dread attending (in person or on zoom) the memorial months in advance?.

  literally as soon as new year hits, i feel sick and super anxious, and i've realised it's because of the memorial, which i only attend because of family, who kinda tell me the reason they have bad health is cuz i left the jw sevel years ago..

  Meetings (especially IN PERSON) for most can be a LARGE SOURCE OF ANXIETY. It's not so much due to DOCTRINES believed by the followers of this cultporation; it's more than likely in most cases the ARROGANT/ SMUG/CONCEITED/NARCISSISTIC ATTITUDES displayed/shown by the STEPFORDIZED followers in this organization. THIS, in addition to and for many other viable reasons, I woke up, discovered TTATT, and left this cultporation---FOR GOOD! 👏🏽

  Museums the new way to make money?

  the organisation is now creating museums in 35 countries, is that their new way of making money?

  nowhere does the bible say that christians should engage to such activity but is it possible the watchtower is now making it a priority for :.

  a. look like they have something to offer to the community.

  WT will, of course, BEG the R&F for more $$$$$$$ so that these structures can be built. Also, (this was mentioned via some PIMOs I know plus within the ex-JW Reddit Blogsite) that The Borg is requesting dubs who have very old literature (books, brochures, records, tapes, videos, etc.) to donate these to WHQ so that these can be displayed as ARTIFACTS in their new museums. [Sidebar=> I betcha that the old NEON WT SIGN will be exhibited there as well!]🤨😒

  Stress of Going to a Summer Convention

  spotted this picture on a friend's page, he was highlighting the mental health issue.

  however,we thought the magazine on stress was deliberately placed in the summer months because for any jw going to a convention, paying high season hotel rates for themselves or their whole family to stay near the convention centre, fighting coworkers and managers to get the time off work, travelling expenses, buying their own meals for the family, buying new shiny suits and dresses to impress (particularly if you have teenage girls who are looking for their prince), and more.... by the time they come home again and straight away back to work, their nerves will be so frazzled that their stress levels will have sky rocketed!.

  i am mindful of how questioning decisions was discouraged and being told to keep things confidential.

  ( maybe too soon, but do share if a special needs part comes up) you would think that common sense would tell them they cause the questions when they don't share reasons.

  The situation-debacle about ANTMO could be classified in the: "THINGS THAT ARE NOT TO BE SPOKEN ABOUT" Category. If this is the case, if a dub mentions (aloud or in whispers) that info, which was posted within JW.ORG, would he or she be placed on some sort of discipline--especially since WT is all about APPEARANCES and this cultporation doesn't want any BAD PUBLICITY? Hmmmmmm. . . . . . . . 🤨🤔

  the jws i know (which admittedly are more liberal than most) are suddenly into prepping to one degree or another.

  some have simply assembled "go bags" with basic common sense supplies in case they need to bug out in the event of a natural disaster and others seem to be seriously into it, almost to the degree to which mormons are.

  Yes; I was informed by one of my PIMO relatives that The Borg had the membership study a WT article yesterday which emphasized for dubs to be prepped "for persecution"! This cultporation AGAIN--even regardless of ANTMO's stepping down--wants the R&F to be AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID of the governments and other people GUNNING (excuse the use of this particular word) for them. 🙄 WT has made their followers feel that they are sooooo very important to the degree that they are TARGETS of non-believers. 😐 All the while in reality, there are extremely FEW humans who give any thought to this organization. WT is in most folks' minds a NON-FACTOR and not of utmost importance to them in their own personal daily lives. The Heinous Hierarchy is CERTAINLY DELUSIONAL plus POMPOUS, ARROGANT, and NARCISSISTIC!😡
