  one of my step-sons has had a baby.. so at the young and tender age of 39, i suppose you could call me..... grandpa .

  everyones healthy and fine.

  there were no complications.. and grandma zev is beside herself.. __.

  funny old life isnt it....

  i was just looking out the window, as it would happen a middle aged woman, or perhaps a young woman worn out with her life walked past.

  she stopped on the edge of the mall where my wifes office is, and sat on a bench outside the window.

  on close look, she couldnt have been more than late 30's, but probably only 35.. she sat for a while just looking at the ground in front of her, her face just exhibiting that blank look of the world weary.

  You are having such a bad time right now, it will get better. I have told you I walked grave yards for a year when my beliefs began to evaporate. All those people who had lived and died, their lives were in the "-" between their birth date and death date. If all we have is the "-", we all better get out there and live it the best we can. We all have wonderful memories of days gone bye. Everyone does, that's why they call it the good old days, lets all keep the good memories, learn from the bad, and be the best humans possible, and maybe, just maybe, the guilt and depression that "men" have put on us will disappear. Nine Elders who have never before met you, decide in one hour you are not worthy to be a witness of Jehovah??? How nuts is that? They decide 6 million other people can never talk to you unless you beg those same men for forgiveness? Remember when I was trying to tell a co-worker about this scenario, he looked at me like I was crazy, and suddenly I felt like I was.
  
  So buck up little cowboy, you got alot of riding yet to do.
  And one very attractive sexy wife to ride along with you.

  i couldn't stay away.

  i love you guys.. abaddon's and ldh's recent posts hit close enough to home that i decided to post again.. i think the selected memory and split personalities go hand in hand.. the selected memory helps keep the cult personality happy and gleaming no matter what damage the suppression does to the real human or the real human's family and friends.. a couple of years ago i was talking about my childhood with my parents and they both acted stunned when i said i was still angry with them because they didn't want me to go to college (i gave up several scholarship offers, etc.

  to become a pioneer and eventually go to bethel).
