There will be a counter cult awareness program held in Sarasota at The
Tabernacle, 4141 DeSoto Rd. Sarasota, Florida.

Pastor Neville Grit has graciously given us two Sunday services to
present our program, the first will be at 8:15 am on sunday Oct. 27, the
second service I believe is at 10:45 am.

We have titled the program NOTHING CONCEALED based on Luke 8:17 "For
there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed and nothing concealed
that will not be known or brought about into the open: And this is our
purpose to bring to light what the Watchtower really represents and we
are providing innoculation against the Watchtower disease.

On Sunday Bill Blatz will be giving his testimony and discussing the
difference between communion at the Kingdom Hall and communion with
Christian churches. He has a ministry "God is Love" in Northport, FL.

Diane Gholson will also be giving her testimony concerning her 43 years
as a Watchtower Slave and what it means to be a Christian and free. She
is branch director of Midwest Christian Outreach in Spring Hill, FL
Everyone will receive an excellent brochure in the church bulletin which
will help immensely as you face the Jehovah's Witness At your Door.

On Wed. evening, Oct. 30 the program will continue at 7 pm.
Again two speakers.

1.Former full time minister Dan Hurley who exited
the Watchtower this past January. He will be giving his testimony and
will show how after serving at the hospital when a blood transfusion
became an issue and how this helped him examine what the Bible really
says about the use of blood. You won't want to miss this.

2. Shirley Jackson from St. Petersburg (Her story was in Spiritual Shunning" in the St Pete Times) will give her heart rending testimony relating what it cost her to take a stand for Jesus. Bring a
hankie.

There will be a literature table and sign up sheet to be on the mailing
list for the free newsletter "Tidbits".

She was a regular poster in my egroup Christian XJWS.

I am so chocked up with tears.

I know she is in the arms of Jesus.

LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE IN CA

yep i know it's all caps.. tomorrow< oct 21, is the last day to register to vote in the upcoming elections (for the central valley).

if you're not sure how to register to vote, call your county clerk or registrar of voter's office.. please vote.

if you've never voted before you will feel like a heathen apostate, a great feeling.. by the way, i hope non of you are planning on voting for a certain republican here in the central valley.

I hate to say this I am a Repulician, but would not vote for a guys who has servere problems with prostitution.

Just like I woul dnver vote for Bill Clinton ever again.

No matter what party's affilation you are, it is important to look at the person, not the party.

I get to vote for Jeb, in my state. He is a good Governor in Florida.

Just coming home from my vacation to the North East, this scripture
come true to life.

Just experiencing the change of seasons for a brief time was a
blessing. Living in Florida, I do not see the leaves change color.
Just breathe taking!

I grew up in the Boston area. It have almost forgotten what it like
just getting up on a crisp fall morning, drinking a cup of hot tea
and just spending time with God. Living down South, most mornings
never get cold enough for me to crave a cup of hot tea. I did not
know how much I missed it.

Missing my hot tea and just meditating on a crisp fall morning for me
was a great witness for our Lord Jesus!

i wanted to hear the president's speech tonight, but can't stand listening to the man.

he has a prepared speech but he keeps saying nuc-you-lar instead of nuc-le-ar.

i can't stand it.. you would think his people would walk him through correct pronunciation.

Yes when Atty General of AR, he was accused a raping a woman name Juantia Broadrick. she was brutally beaten and rape. she name then Atty General Bill Clinton. teh article was ran on 60 minutes around the time of the Lewinsky scandel.

I put it to you this way, If President Clinotn admitted he had an affair when asked, the public would have forgiven him.

He obstucted justice by lying. How many more women was Clinton going to rape and abused? I certainly do not want a rapist or a man who uses his power of the public offices he voted in for forcing himself on women who don't want to have sex with him.

Monica wanted the sex but she ws a nasty woman by having that dress all that time. I don't know how many women would of cleaned the dress a long time ago.

YOu ask the last question why should I ask to hold a standard of morality? Simple it is because he ask for our trust when a President ask for our vote to the highest office in the land. If a Presidents moral don't count to you then your vote that way.

I think Bush made a great case for premtive stike. I notice he is giving Sadamm Sometime to comply, but sadly Saddam won't. He has had 11 years to comply.

I am conservative myself and lived in Liberal Massachuttes. I seen what lebelism has done to that state. The crimnal have more rights than the victims ever do or will.

A state which has a liberal political leaning also has a higher tax rate per capital and higher amount of those who depend on Goverment benefits. Liberal States also attractive to those who are on welfare or are dependent on assitance.

Being on public benefits , the laws or the system does not encourge one to becomes self sufficent. So those who depend on the Goverment to survive will always vote their pocetbooks.

I am with you on one subject. Clinton just could not keep his penis in his pants, out of some girl's mouth or stoking himself while having phone sex. If I were a congressman who found out while talking to the president Clinotn on a matter of business he was getting a blow job, I be embarassed to have him as President. I sadly regret to have vote for him in 1996 because I did not expexct Perot to win,

I rahter have my President misprnuncate a few words over a man who a President who is dispickable!

What a small World. I knew Scumrat's sister when her and her current husband, when we all used to work together out in fieldservice. We did a lot of night witnessing together.

See you are home from teh March! It was great meeting you there.

I lived in Lakeland myself from 1992-1995. I was going to the KH trying to be reinstated. I Da myself in 1991 when I lived in Vermont after a Case in Montpelier hit the news.

I applied for a job in Winne Dixie in 1993 on 92 and Fish Hatchery Rd. NOw a JW woman worked at the time in the Deli where I was going to the hall. She had no idea I was Da or reason why I left.

I got the job and the lady who hired me knew I was going to the KH, I told her the nights I could not work and she said it was OK. She told me to come back in one hour to get my hours. I did and there all of a sudden there was no job. I asked her of there was a problem with my application and she said no. I told her what may have happened and asked if I could work for another department. She said no, so I asked to speak with the Manager.

I asked him the same thing. He said I could not have a job there. I told him myformer mother-in-law used to work there when she was alive. He said she was a good woman and implied I was not. He did not know me for him to imply such a statement. I had over 2 years in spermarket cash handling experice there was nothing worng with my application.

2 weeks later I went shopping with my girlfriend went by the deli. JW woman said to the other woman ( I did not know woman #2 was a JW) I fixed it so that disfellowshipped person can't work here."

I threanted the store I was going to the EEOC. All of a sudden the elder showed up. I only missed a week at the Kingdom Hall.

They started the conversation,"We missed you at the Hall, do you belive you are going to be in the new system. (All the blah, blah stuff of I am going to die at Armegeddon crap after that)"

I told them, "I don't know if I am going to be there, but I RATHER BE IN HELL THAN TO BE IN THE NEW SYSTEM WITH PEOPLE LIKE YOU! BTW,GET OFF MY PORCH!"

Safe do you still live in Lakeland? I like to get in tough with them about a story.
