XJW Meeting Sat Feb 14 in SW Central Florida
by nowaytess ingod is love ministry will be having a "covered-dish dinner fellowship" on saturday, february 14, 2004 from 5pm to 9pm at our church peace christian fellowship here in north port, fl (directions below).. .
joan cetnar from personal freedom outreach will be spending a week with us and will also be at this "get-together".
we hope and pray that you and anyone else who has been negatively affected by the watchtower society will be able to attend.

Tampa FL Meetup Feb 1

many just see the event adverstised here for the first time and just attend.

it was 5pm est.
schnitt the talk pesonalilty was talking about the catholic church how horrible it was for them to fille bankruptcy to avoid paying the victims of child molestation.. well you know i just had to call up the show on my cell phone.

Reestablishing family ties with non-Witnesses
by cyberguy inas most of you folks know, non-witness family members are treated almost the same way as jw's treat disfellowshipped people.
after leaving the borg, fully or partially, has anyone had good results in reestablishing relationships with non-witnesses family relatives?
i've got over a dozen cousins that i'd like to have a relationship with once again, but i'm not sure the best way to break-the-ice.

they have been preparing everyone by way on tv and radio on the sexual abuse in the jw religion.
they had a small piece on the 6 o'clock news with a small interview with bill bowen.

Opinions on Christian Churches and tithing 10% inc
by nowaytess ini saw the thread on tbn, and felt this question was a good one to pose to the board.. .
tithing is being preached more and more in many christian denominiations.
a chrisitian is under obligation before anything else to give 10% of gross income to the church.
