i seem to recall that some zealous witnesses would go door to door on christmas (some decades ago) 1. because they had the day off anyway.

2. to show that they had no special regard for that day.

3. it was one day they could be sure to catch people at home.. i imagine that witnessing on the 31st of october is probably seen as a bad idea for reasons of it's own.

To fully understand you have to read the original post as it was. He said he had sex with a minor. The rest was pretty unhinged. I understand it might have been misunderstood, but it was because of how it was presented.

I remember reading that post. Not sure it merited being banned, but it was somewhat shocking and not something I’d condone. Perhaps you should repost it here so everyone can read it and see for themselves.

This whole thing has been blown out of proportion. The speaker is simply referring to the change back in w95 10/15 pg 18. They used to teach Jesus sat on his throne to judge the sheep and the goats in 1914. In '95 they changed it to the end of the great tribulation. Remember, in JW mythology, Jesus sits as king in 1914 and then as judge during the GT.

That's all this clip is about. The GB has never and never will have "focus groups" or "test runs" of doctrinal changes. They couldn't care less how the rank and file feel.

Sign of the Last Days

in the sermon on the mount, jesus foretold that earthquakes “in one place after another” would be part of the sign of the last days clímaxing in the great tribulation.. what could jesus possibly have meant?

using a phone app nowadays, there are earthquakes detected in one place after another but is this what jesus meant and did they have so many earthquakes throughout the centuries affter his prophecy or are these modern day detected earthquakes unique to this epoch?

how can we be sure unequivocally that modern day earthquakes are part of the sign fulfilling bible prophecy?.

I tend to believe Jesus wasn't saying all those things were signs of the end. At Matthew 24:6 he says: "See that you are not alarmed, for these things must take place, but the end is not yet." This fits with all the wars, hunger, famine, disasters, etc throughout history and zealots claiming the end is nigh. Jesus simply said, no one knows the day or the hour and stay awake.

Basically, it will come when it comes. Don't fall for all the end of times cries.

New blood card system in March

there is going to be a hole new system of blood cards this march .

the congregation won’t hold any information as they did before from march it will be all put on the pub.

i think it’s to do with vaccines and they are worried now they got everyone vaxed and they want to distance themselves from medical responsibilities and say own personal decisions.
