So are you saying that all these zealous publishers and other religously active people are being fooled into believing they have a special relationship with God. And by doing what they percieve to be Gods will they make themselves important, and relavent?

Terry- Your experience is worth sharing. I find that I have two minds as well. I can see "worldy" point of view and JW point of view as well. It was confusing to me at first, part of the dissillusionment phase. But now I feel this enables me to relate to different groups.

Do YOU Believe That JWs Have A Huge Problem With Pedophiles?
by minimus ini don't think there are more pedophiles in the religion than there are in others.. i understand that one is too many.
but i think some believe that it's an epidemic within the organization.
i believe their 2 witness rule can help pedophiles secretly abuse kids.. but i don't think that this particular crime dominates those in the religion.. .

Repost: My Two Week Consulting Trip to Bethel
by Hunyadi insince half of them ended up at my house on friday and saturday nights i was given a very shining report card.
he then told me that he would knock on my door bright and early in the morning to take me to breakfast with him and his wife.
a couple of them told they enjoy the articles i write in the art magazines and they were really happy to meet me.

Reading his story helps me to see/admit how fucked up JW families are. The anguish the kids are put through. It's not organized religion, it's organized pain and anguish. Why torchure a body with pain when you can torchure someone entire life generation after generation. It's ironic considering how often I heard publishers brag about they being the 3rd of 4th generation JW. Screw that I want my child to be "worldy". And happy and rich and educated and have fun.

Lets just say for the sake of arguement that there is one pediphile for every ten congragations. How many lives will be screwed given how many congregations there are? Is one in ten too many? Lets say there only one pediphile in the entire world in JW midst, is one too many? Now lets suppose that one pedophile is being protected by the rules and continues to victumizing more children. Cant you see the problem. It is the protection they recieve which allows them to keep on abusing children while in good standing. Hello!

but, i could chord with my left hand and peck out melody in my right hand!.
in fact, i was quite compelled to compose music the way teenagers are often overwrought with hormone driven compulsions to express themselves!

Terry- Thank you for sharing that with me. It somehow helps. Perhaps we all have regrets in life and in love. I know I do. I have many things to be grateful and thankful for but still there are regrets. Paul Simon says in one of his songs- "The fact that life could be better is woven indelible into our hearts and our brains." Anyway thanks for sharing that.

How come you have to wait on Jehovah? Shouldn't he be faster than you?
by dgp inif jehovah created the universe, knows it all, et cetera, and then he has a direct line to the governing body, how come you're always told to "wait on jehovah"?
can a simple earthling be faster in his or her reasoning than yhwh?
can s/he notice something jehovah will miss?.
