  WT Conspiracy Theory - Pinky Ring - DUMB, I know

  oh man, i know i'm gonna catch flack for this.. everyone sees masonic conspiracies everywhere.. i am not a conspiracy theorist.

  i don't honestly believe the governing body are freemasons.. yet, probably due to cruising this site and seeing all the masonic conspiracy threads, i saw this when looking for a shot of lett's pinky ring to show how he wore one in october, but then took it off in may to ask for money.. .

  original is on the left, and on the right, i played with the brightness/contrast to get it to show up a little better.. what does the pattern on his ring look like to you?.

  New Light! People CAN now be saved AFTER the Tribulation begins!

  for decades, i remember the society, publications, and elders saying that once the great tribulation begins, it is too late to repent or be saved.

  they said the "door of the ark will have been closed.".

  now, however, look at the brand-new clarified understanding / new light on this from jw.org, below.. they are still saying that the majority of worldly people will not be saved, but they are now saying it is possible.. the simplified july study watchtower says this:.

  Why I remain one of Jehovah's Witnesses

  allow me to begin with a clarification: when i say i am one of jehovah's witnesses, i don't mean that i am an advocate of the watchtower society or a devotee of some of its more controversial false teachings.

  i mean that i am a christian, a disciple of jesus christ dedicated to jehovah god, and who remains in union with my brothers and sisters who make up the family of faith that globally refers to itself as jehovah's witnesses.

  some totally understand the distinction between the family of brothers and sisters and the corporate organization known as the watchtower society (wts).

  OneEyed, You hit the nail squarely one the head. As a born in with absolutely no ex or non JW family I ignored any doubts and refused to research the history of the Borg for the simple reason that I was completely UNPREPARED for the decisions that would be required if I learned TTATT.

  what would have happen if i was not home when jehovahs witnesses knocked on my door?.

  there was a group of us living in a small trailer in the mid 60s when and old pioneer brother knocked on our door and placed all kinds of books and magazines with us.

  all of us took it seriously and studied and started attending the kingdom hall.

  You took the words right out of my mouth. My only living child called to let me know how much she loves and misses me. She has ZERO interest or relationship with her grandmother, a decision made all on her own.

  when the elders visited us last week, they also discussed my father.

  my mother called them about him.

  Your mother is in two abusive relationships. The Watchtower and your father. I applaud your concern for her but keeping your parents together under the circumstances is a mistake. Disfellowshipping is not the real problem here the abuse is.

  Help her get in touch with a women's shelter. Help her to value herself enough not to allow herself or her animals to be abused. He needs serious councelling and so does she. Help her find safety AWAY from your father/ abuser.

  You might want to rethink things if you are following the WTBT$ rule of "necessary family business" to appear to be a follower to your wife. What about visits with your daughter alone? Surely there can be a satisfactory "work around"?
