3 sigs. on Special Meeting Tickets
by eby inan elder told me that a letter was sent to the congregations instructing that tickets for the supplemental meeting to the annual meeting should be signed on the back by 3 elders from the congregation.
anyone else hear about this?.

WTBTS annual meeting this Saturday
by Skimmer inthe wtbts annual meeting is this saturday (if i recall correctly), and so today (friday) is the last day for the prescient among us to publicly offer our speculations, and if available, inside knowledge as to what new turdlets will be emitted from "god's only true channel".. i will repeat my main guess here and write that we will see a number of organizational changes that have the effect, which has been seen before, of moving assets closer to brooklyn while moving liabilities to the circuit and congregational levels for protective compartmentalization.. anyway, here is your last opportunity to offer your views before the big day.
so feel free to post your comments to this thread; you too can be a cassandra or a tiresias or a fred the wonder cat.. well, skip the last one.

Meeting's..........the best Medicine!!!
by Latte indo you remember those truly wonderful occasions when the meeting was in full swing, and something/one would make you laugh uncontrollably............so much so that you had to go out.
(and yes, your were sat on the front row!
you would go out and feel terribly guilty, and when you thought you were under control, you would venture back in only to find that the air was still full of laughter (on your row)..............truly wonderful meetings!!

I need your advice
by cecil ini need your advice: i have written a letter to my branch office regarding my problems with the 607-chronology 60+ pages with short references about the issue, that i have collected through the past 9-10 years.
at the end of my letter i asked 14 questions 7 questions regarding the biblical evidence against the 607 bce-chronology and 7 questions regarding the historical and astronomical evidence against it.. the letter i received as an answer did not contain anything that could qualify as an answer or even an attempt to answer my questions.
i called the branch office by phone and talked to the brother who had written the answer.

my husband and i would like to know if anyone has been in a similar situation and is able to help us let her know that there is another more loving way of living in this world.
its frightening to see the damage my husbands ex is doing to this inocent little girls mind.

Very New Light
by Abaddon init has now been realised that the the inside leg measurements of several kings of israel had been left out of the count of years that traditionally resulted in 1914.. with this new light we have a clear demonstation of the power of biblical prophecy, as the count of years now ends in the fall of 2001, exactly when the 'king of the north' made himself apparent.. thus, we can again truly highlight jesus' words 'this generation will by no means pass away...' as being applicable now!
what joy, both for those that remained faithful to death, not running ahead of the fetid deodourant salve but waiting on jehovah, and for those who are alive now.
a generation is a score of years or so, so it is unlikely we will still see this wicked system of things in operation in 2025!.
