I have been out 20 plus years. Yesterday at a exercise class I met a very nice lady who, along with her husband left the same KH I attended. They left 4 years ago. Well we talked a lot, and she mentioned that the KH had been broken into and all the records on DA and DF people were taken. I am sure they had records on me and now I have no idea who has all that personal info on me. I mean it is just like trusting your psychiatrist to keep confidence but then he loses your chart. Instead of hanging on to info on members, personal information should be destroyed. Now I am worried what happened to those records. Who saw them? I have had my identity stolen at least 5 times, not fun at all, and a lot of work to get things stright again. Should i be concerned?

I didn't expect to be here at age 49. Here as in my employment
by wha happened? init's been a terrible economy these last few years.
i had a very successful loan brokerage and watched that crash and burn in 2011. i went back to my previous firm in the computer industry that was struggling after i left.
it seemed like a good match.

Another rumor about changes in Watchtower and Awake
by wannaexit init's only a rumor.
but we all know that sometimes rumors become a reality.. supposedly the public watchtower and awake magazines will be combined together and the two shall become one.. i wonder if the present 16 page "rags" are becoming an embarrassment.
they truly are rags of the lowest quality..

My father went though the EXACT same thing you are discribing, but because he did not take the time to develop a relationship with us kids our only option was my mother and her religion. Work on your relationship with your kids, take them one by one out for breakfast or fishing or something where you have one/on one time. Do you really think your kids enjoy sitting at boring meeting? Readiing 3 grade material? Knocking on doors, and most importantly feeling limited in who they can become as an adult? Please believe me about this. Be interested in their education, take the lead by getting them involved in school activities or other sports or hobbies. It is easy for your wife to take the lead because she has the comfort of a cult to support her. That is NOT being a parent. A real parent takes the lead themselves. It is going to take work, but I tell you, your children are not stupid. You give them an option to the JW cult and they will go for it.

They may have thought there was a bomb in it being so full. (I can hope can I?) lol. Take off your shoes and stay a while. For Mrs. Awol, look up a product called Unjury Protein for your hair. Increasing your protein will decrease your stress and stop your hair from falling out. You sound like such a nice couple, I am glad you are here.

If they stop printing the yearly totals, will they stop tracking hours?
by Splash inso if the soc stop printing the yearly totals in the yearbook as many are predicting, does this mean there is no longer any need to keep track of each individuals hours?.
will this mean the end of our monthly reports?.

I think the Printing Company has been grabbing at straws for the past 20 years to keep afloat. They have downsized greatly, selling this and that(property), downsizing their products (the WT is nothing more than a tract of what it use to be). They are also trying to appease their volenteers by decreasing the amount of required hours. Back in the day a reg pioneer had to put in a 100 hours a month! Now they are begging for volenteers to report 15 minutes! WTF? Damn... if all I had to report was 15 minutes a month to keep them off my back I could have done a lot as a teen and young adult.
I have a strong gut feel this company is not going to be around for very much longer. I know I certainly would not invest in it with it's current history as a company. It has been on a slow, painful decline since 1976 and just what it is that it has to draw anyone is something I just cannot see.
