growing up scared of Armageddon
by bittersweet ini was just curious if any of you growing up in the truth were overly scared of armageddon?.
when my mom came into the org.
in the 70's,the only so called kids book was the paradise lost book.the pictures in that book scared the pants off me!at night when i was lying in bed,if i would hear a loud plane go over head,or there was a thunder storm,i was sure it was the start of armageddon and i would be sooooo scared.i was wondering if i was the only one overly scared,or if their were others.. also,was anyone out there extremely frightened of the demons?i would hear all these crazy experiences of people having problems with demons,and i was sooo frightened they would come bother me.maybe i was just a big old scaredycat,but if any one else has any experiences,please post them!

SE Michigan Festivities Fun but Not Over Yet!

Moe,I can't even say I know how you feel,that would be hurtful and unfair.It's so hard in this world today to even try and function as normal people would,what ever that is.The only consoling thing I can say is that every parent who truly loves there children,and there are those who do not,tries to do everything in there power to protect and support them.Parents have the disadvantage of not being able to be everywhere,and see everything to protect their children.Everyone here knows how much you love your daughter and so we also know that you did everything as a parent should do to protect her.I have been in a completely different situation that required me to get some help for myself but even more important,my loved ones,you see if children see a parent suffering they will feel the same hurt,not because of what happened,but because they see you hurting.You need some help sweetie,for yourself and your daughter.It is nothing to be ashamed some people feel it's a fairlure on there part,the only failure would be to not get help for yourself and your daughter.
You are in my thoughts,take care.

Just wait till there are so many lawsuits on the wts that they will have to admit to all the wrongs and coverups just so they can stay a solvent organization.If the wts does not they will go bankrupt will all the lawsuits.You go Bill,we are ALL behind you,the wts will never agian see my face at any jw function.

What would you do if religion collapsed?
by Prisila inat this point in my life i feel very confident that leaving the jws was the best thing for me.
however, 25 years of brainwashing goes a long way.
(for arguments sake) if religion collapsed today, would you feel you made a mistake in leaving the wbts?

Not at all,I am confident in my decision,And besides if religion collapsed why would I run back to the wts,they are an organized religion.All I know is that I believe in GOD,Not organized religion.
