  biggest WTBTS threat

  sorry if there has already been a thread on this subject.

  do you think a really big threat to the wtbts is from people like me who are still witnesses and in the organization but also post on this board and have an open mind -- or do you think there are bigger threats -and if so what would they be?

  On the other hand, they still have money, even with declining contributions. I doubt that lawsuits will be big enough

  I'm not so sure about that. Even the Catholic church had to worry, and eventually offer a blanket settlement to those abused. The Catholic church won't even back up other priests now, unless that has changed.

  What is the one thing that will gum up the works in anything...money. If they get hit hard enough, it will cause problems.

  as we entered a door of the administration building we did not head to the elevator to take us up the eight floors to the main administration floor.

  i looked around the room and asked, "what's up with her?

  i was going to work with the elder from hell who ran the photography department.

  as I grasped for air as we reached the last step on the eight floor. I thought to myself, this old guy may be nuttier than a bag of filberts but he's in damn good shape.
  

  I about messed my shorts, I've met a few people like that myself! LOL

  He said that Leo's last room mate had been kicked out of Bethel because he would get new young brothers drunk and then bring them up to his room and have sex with them in their butt. Yes, he actually said have sex with them in their butt. I didn't know whether to laugh my ass off or drop to the floor in a state of shock.

  I can just see this kid cringe when he said " in thier butt".

  Underhanded Means and Trickery

  did the elders ever try to trick you into saying too much or even trick you into having to meet with them after you said that you wouldn't?

  here is my dilema: i have been inactive for about 18 mnths and moved out of the area, got a new phone number, ect.

  i have had the best of both worlds, a good relationship with my family (because i'm not df'd or da'd) and freedom from the borg.

  I myself love playing mind games with people, not too hurt just for fun. When it came to the elders, well, I always thought of a commercial I'd seen on tv, one statement, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste", that always came to mind. Get them out of thier element, which is the doctrinal thinking, and they were lost. If you hammer your question or replies to them, they end up doing the run around or as I would call it, "the rope-a-dope".

  Azzy, while I will defend you, your wrong in your statement here. If you go to google, which is where I went, and type pro-abortion group, just like it is, you will find numerous sites to go too. Sorry dear.

  I however am one of those wishy-washy people. I bounce between pro-choice and pro-life. If I have the meanings correct, I do believe a woman can do whatever she wants with her body, but I also believe that a child should have, at the very least, a chance to be born.

  All that being said, I'm glad the bastard fried!

  Now That We've Stopped Meetings, What Should We Expect???

  my daughter stopped all meetings in the spring.my wife and i went to only a few meetings in the early summer and haven't been to a meeting in over 6 weeks.

  my elder friend stops by my work every so often and recently has asked, "am i going to see you at the meeting tonight, min?

  " i have said now on 3 occasions, "not tonight......" the other day another elder friend called me out of the blue and asked me how things are going.he said,.he'd like to come by my work and talk a little.
