  How can I successfully Deprogram?

  for months i have been questioning in my mind whether i still believe what i was taught in this organization.

  my belief system is very much intact.

  i stopped using illegal drugs(this got me on the disfellow ship in the first place) i don't lie or steal, but still curse like crazy.

  When you have a group of people on this board that have been raised not to be PATRIOTIC to anything but the borg and then find out that was all an illusion, what do you expect?The switch just can't be turned off when you have been raised to beleive certain things, they stick with you. The fact that you think you see under-patriotism does not mean that people are not patriotic but maybe they just don't know how to.I was born and raised in the borg till I was 21, I'm 34 know....I have no concept of how to be patriotic to something I was basically taught to hate.

  I don't want you to think this is a lashing out on the contrary this is a way to help you understand your fellow board members, those who have been through some of the things you have.

  Did you have physical repercussions?

  a serious question, seriously asked, with serious intent: .

  when you faced a judicial committee, did you suffer physically from the experience?

  we have learned of sisters suffering greatly from the experience.

  i know many like myself have had alot of different experiances and have met many different people since leaving the jw's.my question is do you think you knew or found people to be more intelligent in the organization or have you found people to be more stimulating and intelligent outside the organization, setting aside the fact that the people in the organization are apart of it?

  i'm just curious as to peoples experiances.

  I'll have to agree with everyone's comments to some degree.The one I most agree with is the dumbing down of individuals when in the org, they have no time for current events.

  how do you difine spirituality now you are no longer a jw?

  are you still a spiritual person and if so in what way?.

  or are you totally unspiritual by your definition of what it means to be such?.
