i had some harsh reality of disfellowshipping thrown in my face yesterday that made me realize how much i have missed being here with all you lovely people.

Hey, I feel for you. I have spoken to my father once since I was df'd in 90. I found out in that time he almost died in the hospital. So, instead of stressing about it and trying to change him (cause I can't) I figure it's his loss not mine. No amount of bitching from me to any elder will do me any good, they would only tell me they won't get involved in family matters anyway. I have been told this before.

My advice, fulfill your life to the fullest and be happy knowing you did it on your own.

Do teenage JW's have a higher suicide rate?

i read online that teenage jw's have a suicide rate four times higher than the national average.

i was curious if anybody could refer me to actual statistics that could either confirm or deny that.

i have a friend who was struggling with suicidal thoughts a few months ago and now her new boyfriend is trying to convert her to be a jw.

do you know what?i was disgusted when i read what u had written!As a Jehovahs Witness i think i know, we are NOT i repeat NOT a cult!a cult has 2 have one spersific worldly leader..like in achurch with the priest or even the POPE!!!!!
we base all our belifes firmly on the bible and Jesus Christ is the head of our congrigations and Jehovah God is the one we worship!
i can not belive that people say these things!Yes our religion is striced but ,i as a 16 year old boy, can say that we do not miss out!Oh yaeh we do.....on aids and all other S.T.D.`s we miss out and drugs and becoming heroin adicts, we miss out on un-wanted pregnacies, we miss out on having to have our stomach pumped every saturday night because we ve been out and drank to much!YES we miss out on alot!
I am a teenager and my father died about 7 or 8 moths ago anh ye it was a hard time!but i never NEVER felt suicidel if any thing i was drawn closer to God!I have many many happy friends in this organisation none of which have EVER felt like this!i LOVE being a Jehovahs Witness! If any thing by you all saying things like this you just prove that we are the true religion!I my apologies because i can not rememebr exactly where but in the bible it tells us that satan has blinden the minds of the unbelivers so all i can say is thanks!
We do have all our things correct and i am affraid that it is you who are sadly mistaken!
find something better to do instead of discusing our fantastic holy divinly inspired RELIGION all day long!

Found a Second Aircraft Owned by The WT

this aircraft is the same model owned by the wt.

it is a twin-engine piper pa-31-310 navajo and it's n number is n254sw

as their other cessna twin-engine, this one is also based in alaska.

Having lived in Alaska, I know first hand how difficult it is to get around the state. Granted, there are situations where stops at fishing camps have been noticed, but alot of towns are based around these fishing camps, it is thier economy of sorts. It does supplement the towns income. I have known several men (brothers) to die in single engine planes, hence the two prop plane.

Most of Alaska is only accessible by plane, so I have to give LL the nod and agree with this not being one of those HUGE scandals.

Don't get me wrong, I still believe completely that the WT is corrupt to the bone! I don't support it one bit, but I'm also not going to give the WT fuel and give them reason to throw out the "persecution" issue. If I find something, I want it to have teeth, some real substance to it.

i recentley read that cod liver oil is the new wonder "drug" apparently it wards off cancer, strokes, heart disease and helps alleiviate feelings of depression.

I take: Multivitamin, Vitamin C, Antioxidant, Calcium-Magnesium, Vitamin B-12, and a Protien Supplement.

i just got off the phone with a gentleman who, talking approx 1000 words per minute, so that i could almost not understand what he said, identified himself as "navin", and wanted to "share a scripture with me".

he clearly did not know who i am or my history, or my website hobby.
