Is the Watchtower shy about repeating their new "generation" teaching?
by slimboyfat inas i recall in the 1980s talks and watchtower literature, magazines and books were always talking about the "generation" teaching and how it proved armageddon was going to come any day now.. but am i correct in thinking they have only actually mentioned the new "overlapping generations" teaching once or twice in the literature?
why are they so shy about talking about their great new interpretation?
it's almost enough to make you suspect they are a embarrassed about it.. mention it once or twice, don't dwell on it, hope everyone just accepts it, and don't bring it up again.

Thanks for posting the scan, much appreciated. Although, it doesn't say that Russell believed or taught that, it's a quote from Rev J Seiss. I thought one of these old books may have said something about the information going straight to his mind from angels and God being on Alcyone. That would be interesting if it said those things.

Soul Searching, need advice re: Physical Attraction
by Nice_Dream inok, so i was a young jw when i got married, and married a nice guy who was my first boyfriend.
i thought we had chemistry, but things weren't really working out in the sex department after we got married.
we had a pretty infrequent sex life for our whole realtionship...i'm talking months of dry spells.

Spot on TD, reminds me of what Billy Connolly said, woman need to feel loved to have sex, men need sex to feel loved. Not always true of course, I don't really think I feel that way but it does have a ring of truth to it.

Spot on. Although I thought at the time the crap I took was Gods way of making me a better person, after all, that's what I was constantly being taught.
Apparently the three jobs I did at the hall weekly was never quite good enough.

Quarterback - the sex thing is really over rated
I've never felt that sex is over rated. Then again I've never felt that tiny things are over rated, like leaving wee notes, buying wee gifts, nice surprises, telling your lady that she looks amazing. Although in saying that i've made a right royal arse of a couple of great relationships so i'm doing something wrong!
