Great video! Would love to show it to my wife...she would just say "it's just a ridiculous claim".
Thumbs up on the video.
interesting, yet thought provoking video regarding how beliefs are taught or promoted...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y201qzddzbg.

my dad was recently made an elder about maybe 6 months ago, and now he is never around he's always at work or doing some kind of jw crap.
now he conducts the watchtower study and is even doing the special talk tommorow.
he's become an even more strict controlling jerk than he was before, and i'm never allowed to go out and do anything non jw related because he doesn't have the time.
Still in
how in the world did they justify this torture?
imagine the children forced to sit in the summer heat at yankee stadium for 12 hours a day.
for 8 days.
i am bringing this up because even it was a lot of work, for the majority of the friends this was a rewarding experience.
camaraderie, joking, costumes, props and when the time came the celebrity status of being in the drama.. back in the 50s and 60s, conventions could be as long as 8 days and from about 1966 the dramas became an integral part of the program.
we had one per day and the brothers looked forward to their presentation.
Helped out in the Potiphar and Joseph Drama, I believe it was 2013, I was waking up at the time and it was a very difficult thing to be a part of, It was like living in a fantasy, nobody was real to me anymore, people were fake, elders were pea cocking there brilliant colors so everyone could see there worth, the prominent elder family's were in the drama, some living double lives. I was just a spectator with skills, it really felt like The Twilight Zone.
Beyond it is another dimension—a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into the Twilight Zone.
Because of my building skills I was asked to help with the props and stage. We drove all the props and costumes to the Convention, my friends truck and trailer broke down on the way to the convention and the CO was pissed, his true self came out, it was quit the sight to see. I think he was worried about answering to the DO about the whole fiasco. We recovered and the show went on. One thing I remember is how I felt through the whole thing, I was seeing the lies and manipulation of the whole organisation and the drama was part of there arsenal, I was troubled contributing to there propaganda and lies. After this my fade became apparent and now i'm involved in a different drama called "unplugged"
i am just venting because my sister has put on facebook that i am no longer "in the truth"!
i have kept a very low profile for years and have silently faded.
many witnesses i have bumped into are very friendly towards me, some from other congregations may not even be aware that i dont go anymore.

Found these on my computer, they where sent to me as a reminder of our heritage.
so we received the obligatory "shoved under the door" memorial invitation and "return to jehovah" brochure the other week.
it also had a hand written note from two elders saying "we love and miss you" etc.... so why then when one of them saw us at the grocery store, did he pretend to not see us and then ignore and quickly walk away?.
the sincerity is wonderful..... dont get me wrong, we dont want any attention from them, but it's an interesting observation anyway.....
just imagine the panic.disbelief.oh my god they were right.then you pee in your pants.what will l do?the plea for forgiveness.please let me through.l promise l''ll change.l didn;t mean what l said on that jw.com site.l was jokin.then you wake up it was only a dream.disbelief turns to relief.
but it could happen..
my spies seem a bit confused.
here, in this neck of the woods 3 congregations had 3 separate sittings.
the attendance seemed to be swelling.
two documented disturbances during memorial 2016. type 'memorial 2016' on youtube.
Yes you are right nothing illegal was done and it was probably his right to make a statement and then leave. But if you are really trying to help others, this is a one time pop. Then all the negativity is heaped upon your motives and actions, so who benefits? The person creating the disturbance might of gotten something out of it but the rest are left in bewilderment and disgust.
The availability and effectiveness to be able to reason with a person with hints and questions about there faith, now that's what the GB fears because its effective. Posting on the internet is effective its where it all happened for me. Commenting on a Facebook or Instagram post about the best life ever hashtag, that's where you give them a gem to ponder, "Effective". I read stuff on amazon reviews of all places and left thinking about what was said, "Effective." Creating a disturbance at a peaceful gathering only makes you look disturbed. Creative but not effective.
