Do they notice who no longer gives donations?
by onightdivine inbecause i haven't put in a single dime for over a year now in the box at the kh.
the usual custom is to put money in there right after the meetings.
but heck, i already spend so much in car fuel just to attend - i don't care really if the gb starves and dies.. oops.. anyway, do the elders take note who's donating and who's not?.

Even when I was still sorta engaged, I never donated more than $10 month. Guess I never was truly an engaged JW at all. -

Operation "Change meeting infrra-weekly" is a smokescreen
by LaFrancia inthe operation "change midweek meeting" probably was a move to divert attention of the brotherhood from layoffs to betel and the ranks of special pioneers, a smokescreen for the pedophilia scandal !
!operation "change meeting infrra-weekly" is a smokescreen.
what do you think ?.

They just changed the names. The cowsh*t is still the same... but sisters in the cong did have those "ooooh" and "aaaahmazing" facial expressions while listening to the announcement. -

Do you have J-dar?
by JWdaughter intoday at work i had an interesting set of co workers.
one was telling us about her side job selling sex toys(also a l&d nurse).
the other one, very beautiful, intelligent woman told us of her 2 kids.

Yes, like a gaydar.
I have yet to test my abilities.. most of the time I can't distinguish (if it isn't field serve-us or meeting day) because most of the people here act, dress up, talk, and love the worldly things.

The reason why I'm asking this is because our cong is quite small..If you're an observant or nosey person, you will notice who's dropping money in there.
And this thought popped up that if they notice you haven't given anything for over a year now, it might be construed as blatantly no longer supporting the borg.
This may be a silly question or idea but I'm curious what really goes on in the minds of those brothers watching the group from the back of the hall. Lol

Hello cognac,
I agree with millie210. You may be pushing yourself too hard..? Most people would find it challenging to balance being a mom and being a businesswoman.
Right now, I don't even have a family, don't own a business.. I am a 9-to-5 employee. By the way, I've learned TTATT before I got baptized, and a few years later remembered TTATT again. I'm still associating with the group because I'm pretty much a "loner" outside of work and need a few "friends", albeit, conditional.
Anyway, you are doing much better than I am. ^^ I hope you feel better and better soon.

Fake Reporting, Growth and Crap Blessings
by cookiemaster ini think the numbers shown in the yearbook and with other occasions that are used by the gibberish buddies to boast about the blessings from jehovah are super fake and inflated, much of it even without their knowledge.
i think they like to take advantage of all sorts of technicalities and loopholes to report numbers as great as possible, but it's not like jws are super reliable sources of reporting.for example i have not been in field circus for something like two years.
i never talked about "the truth" with any non-jw, yet i've never been considered inactive.

Great point there. A super zealous elder dub told me to send scriptures via sms to my family members everyday. If I get a reply, I can record it as a return visit. So if I send a total of 30 messages every month, I can write 30 RVs. A great easy way, he said.
LOL. I won't and will never cheat using my precious (non-JW) family to advance this crap...n

Can the special pioneers, bethelites, and many other "servants", who are getting their benefits stripped, SUE THE WTBS?
by Dunedain ini know in america, corporations, and businesses, are many times obligated to atleast continue certain medical benefits for an extended period of time, like a year or two, even after they are "let go".
i wonder how many older, special pioneers, missionarys, bethelites, and such, have pre-existing medical conditions, and need to have to continue their benefits for care?.
the wts, can send a letter saying " sorry your shits gone in 3 months", but is this really legal?

Maybe not because even if you look at the kick-to-the-blahhrgghh letter, they were being "thanked" for their efforts in the VOLUNTEER work.
