CO says 35% inactive
by target inthe co visiting a congregation in madison wisconsin told them that 35% are inactive.
i wonder if this is the pattern with most other congregations.
that was about what it was in the last congregation i was in.

Yes that's right One complete congregation closed down and disappeared. That particular city is now without a congregation. Funny how it didn't get much, any! publicity by the Witchtower. When I suggested to the elders, trying to railroad me, that perhaps Jehovah withdrew his blessing, boy didn't I get some filthy looks but stone silence as usual.
Maybe the end is nigh after all.

ANGRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by gilwarrior inas most of you know i usually write about sexual matters, but i would like to take this time to write about something serious.
after two months of writing posts and reading others people's posts and have concluded that the jehovah's witness organization purposely prevents people from contact with other people, because that way it is hard for someone to leave the organization.
if everyone you know is in the organization then how can you leave?

Been there done that.
My Ex divorced me when I began to study. I had a disagreement with a witless elder. I moved interstate. I married a witness sister without getting elder approval. 99% of the congregation shunned us. We walked away never to return. Fortunately this witness sister saw the light and thanks me frequently for setting her free from the witchtower slavery.
When you join this cult they make you abandon all your worldly friends. Then you find new witless friends and they start to exploit you. When you finaly start saying "No" then they abandon you and you realise they werent friends at all just a buch of parasites.
I'm not DFed or DAed, we just walked away. Eventually your worldly friends take you back but the witlesses... Well they are gods chosen ones aren't they (like the Jews)? Boy are they in for a nasty shock.
This life is the only one, make the most of it. There is nothing on the other side of death only death.
Just think about it. Living forever in heaven or in paradise. You are gonna be bored after the first few hundred years then what are you gonna do?
Think !
Your idea of Padadise may not be the same as my idea of paradise, someone is gonna be unhappy FOREVER. That's a bloody long time mate to be unhappy.
For you witlesses do you really think the princely class (elders) are going to let you do whatever makes you happy? No sireee you are gonna be working your a$$es off building Kindoom halls for them and tending their gardens and serving them hand and foot. It's all a pipe dream to keep you under their control.
Get on with your life and stop wasting it for a mulibillion dollar printing and publishing corporation.

local news just reported this morning that the man suspected of killing his wife and three children on the oregon coast, was a recently disfellowshipped jehovah's witness.

The fact that many elders beat their wifes and kids is ok so long as the public don't find out.

Loosing my fiancee'

his mother is very devout, and they are very close.
we live together, and he did tell me early on that he was jw, but at the time i only knew they did not celibrate any holidays, not the stuff about blood, voting, disfellowship, etc.

What good is a King without his kingdom?

At work, if everyone ignores the supervisor and does what they want, is the supervisor still the supervisor?
Does god need subjects in order to be a god? Why?
We need a god so we created one because many of us do not want to stand on our own feet we want to be lead rather than lead, it's easier to just follow the flow and be lead. I prefere to take my life into my own hand and do what is best for me.
We only get one go at life and this is it. Don't blow it. There is no life after death only death. What would you do in heaven to not get bored for eternity. Think about it.

I knew about this already.
Many stories in the book of myths are based on actual histerical hapenings.
I have now doubt there was a Noah an Abraham and a Jesus but did they really do what the book of myths says they did? We tend to exaturate stories and so did they. They were peasants and belived anything you told them without question much like the JWs today. Where is the proof?
Why can't they find noahs ark? It never excisted. If it was build today according to the instructions in the bible, with todays technology (steel, waterproofing chemicals sealants etc.)it would still not have been able to do the job. It would have tipped over on the first big wave. Noah in his days with hand tools wooden nails, no glue, no steel, no welding. It would have broken up before it started to float.
Want proof? Put a shoebox into the bathtub it'll float. Now put some apples in it. Try the family cat.
Yes there was a flood but it was local not global.
Was god so stupid that he did not realise that the tower of babylon would fall over long before it would reach his heaven. There was no need to confuse their language.
Different languages came about simply because people moved throughout the earth. Compare the language of some American Rappers with the Queens english. Language is a dynamic living thing. "evolving" still today.

The idea of a single almighty god was not the Hebrews, they stole it from the Egyptians. Yes there is written proof. What proof is there in who wrote the book of myths and did they tell the truth.

Ok let me tell you why I think there is no god. I want to believe in the almighty creator but there is too much evidence of him not excisting.
If a father, who has the power to do anything he wants, stands by and does nothing while his children are raped, murdered, starved, hacked to death by machetty, driven out of their homes and country, killed my germs and viruses etc. etc. what kind of father do you think he is and how would decent people react to him?
Our so called heavenly father has been doing that for thousands of years Is that because he loves us? Now don't give me the stock standard Witchtower reply, I know it.

In the animal kingdom there is a constant struggle for survival, eat or be eaten. Grow up, reproduce and die. In the human world the same struggle excists but it is somewhat refind and more subtle but we still struggle daily just to excist. Just stop paying your bills and see how long you'll have food and shelter.
Whose idea of paradise is that? A sadistic monster not an all loving creater. Did the animals sin also? What was their sin?

They didn't practice what they preached.
Jehovah kept changing his mind.
The end was always just around the next corner. we've been waiting now for 2000 years.
The unchristian way they treat each other after you are babtised.
The way they try to control and take over your entire life. Every thought is under their control.
Etc etc. Read some of the stories on Randys site. someone might post the URL for you, I seem to have lost it.
You might also take a look at the secret elders manual "Pay attention to yourselves and to all the flock" It was available on the web somewhere. They have to move it round cause the Witchtower takes legal action to get it of the air.
