i recently started studying buddhism and found it to be very deep but most of it makes a lot of sense.

Thich Nhat Hanh has written at least 2 books about Jesus and Buddha. I use amazon.com,, the market place.

I'm very drawn to those teachings,but Jesus teachings are also loving and kind,-you just don't see people reflecting it.

since jwd is closing down, i guess i'll be going back to the meetings..................seriously.. i will be at every ca, dc, and special day assembly.. i will also pray for you......................and i mean pray.

Freeminds - Announcements

barbara anderson recently posted that she felt at a loss as to where she would now be able to make her announcements.. hopefully freeminds can be the main place where we all go for big announcements once they are no longer available on jwd - freeminds helped many to initially find out the substance behind their doubts and i'm sure if there's not an announcement feature right now, randy can sort one out?

one day there will be a site that will help doubting/fading/free ones to find a safe, caring and stimulating community, i can feel it in my bones.... .

yes, I remember finding Freeminds when I was looking for jws things on the net. I also saw the H2o site. I was too afraid too look at them but do recall a message board way back in 96. I was terrified to talk to anyone and left 1-2 messages. I recall the name" momiedark" from there. There was also a jws mailing list I was on but was removed( I just told them the "truth-" they did not want to hear it)

back then some tech guy at the KH was passing out names of "known apostates" to those who wanted it. I had one, I remember it .I was actually looking more to make sure my email address was not on it.(:))

I actually went to silentlambs first and then from there to jwd and then back to Freeminds. I first read Gary's Armageddon Okies on FM
