probably traps. If you put out posion and they die up /in there , they will stink up the house., Perhaps a call to the local exterminator for free advice before calling them professionally.

I used to be a loyal fan and not miss any of it, reruns, and all. AI all the time. .NowI watch it when it gets to the final 10 . Currently I have not picked a favorite. The Adam guy seems good and have the hottie factor in addition. I loved the free wheelling spirit of the young Megan they sent home last night. I like her style. One thing I noted is the almsot laid back atmosphere of this yeras gruop. They seem like real people and not a lot of phony bologna and prima donnas.

Maurice Jarre - great composer, RIP
by Sad emo infrench president nicolas sarkozy has paid tribute to oscar-winning film composer maurice jarre, who has died in los angeles at the age of 84.. mr sarkozy called french-born jarre, whose credits include lawrence of arabia, "a great composer" who produced "majestic and full-bodied works".. jarre also won academy awards for dr zhivago and a passage to india.. his last public appearance was in february at the berlin film festival, where he won a lifetime award.. .

Can I ask a question without offending Spanish members? Neighborhhood?
by restrangled ini have some great neighbors...spanish on both sides of me, and down the street.
their homes are very nice and the yards are kept up....but there is the strangest thing.
they love to put big wooden posts in the middle of their beautiful lawns with the most hideous kmart type night lighting fixtures you have ever scene.

Witness 007 returns to wife and meetings..I give up! Sorry no choice!
by Witness 007 inmy wife's been having mental problems since hurting her back at work...we split for 8 weeks {her doing} then she rings me and says she "can't cope and is lonely" so i return {the drama continues} she seems more stable, sleeping all night...what a change!
her mood had become alittle more stable.
she found a part time job, and has not been dragged off by security like her last job...much improved though she dropped 10 kilos in weight.

Witness 0007, the jws are not the most understanding people when it comes to mental illness. Many of them still believe in demon possession. She may or may not get the help she hopes for . Also, if you do not attend and at least pretend to be a good jw, the loyal jws will notice. One elder told me that the KH was not a social club and it exists only to serve Jehovah -not our social needs. Yeah that is really cold, but it is how many of them feel. The "world" is not much better when it comes to mental illlness. Having mental illness can be a very lonely place to be. You will really find out who your friends are or are not.
I so agree that a psychiatrist-but the right one. Therapy can her too.
Being old, ill or weird will not make you freinds among the "better " jws.

"Something in the congregation is hindering the flow of Jehovah's holy spirit" - witch hunt JW style?
by slimboyfat inhas anyone else experienced something like this?.
in my mother-in-law's congregation a special pioneer was recently moved to the congregation and he gave a talk where he said he and the other elders felt there was a bad spirit in the congregation and there must be something going on that is preventing jehovah's holy spirit from operating properly.
but he didn't state explicity what the problem might be and now gossip is rife in the congregation about whether there might be a sinner or a traitor in their midst.. for many this is just the excuse they need to gossip and bad mouth others.

I have seen this one so many times. They claim worldy people are superstitious -talk about the "pot calling the kettle black". Some are able to sniff out demons too, but that is another thread.

Oh My Gosh! I just discovered Cornbread Casserole!
by mrsjones5 inwe were invited to a friend's house for dinner and our hostess served pot roast with an out of sight salad and corn casserole.
i tried the cassarole and loved.
made a pan a couple of days ago and no one will eat but me but i don't care.

I recall many years ago going out with a group of jws and we picked "greens" I assume they were collard. I was told I had to first bring them to a boil, and then pour out all the water and then add more and cook. They are actually quite good. My mom used to add a little bacon grease to them or you can just throw in a slice or two of bacon.
