my grandfather was an elder for 45 years, and served as one of the very first jw in the south chicagoland suburbs.

sometimes you do have to read "between the lines" if you want to be helpfull.
even if you apply logic, you are not being logical if you spect a logical comment from someone not trainned to so.
Who is being stupid, ilogical really?
That is not even taking into consideration the writting ability of the person, that is another skill wich require practice to master.

The best thing to say is say nothing, use a voice mail, dot not interact, they will never react in the way you spect, no matter what you say...

If she sure about it, why waste time talking
her children now is the delicate part, but they are grown anyway.
she may have to face the fact, not be able to talk to them as usual for a long time or maybe never again.

not too long ago, while i was still under the wt spell i also would have similarily spoken abusively of ray.
