My story, please read

first of all, thank you very much for taking the time to read this.

i hope that i am putting this in the right forum.. .

i studied as much about different religions as i could and read every book available to me.

CoC is a mjust read book for any wanabe jw...

CoC is a book written by Raymond Franz around 1980 available at WWW.COMMENTARYPRESS.COM.

Ray Franz was a member of the GB, a very respected one. I know him and his wife personally since my childhood, my family had a very good friendship with them.

He was responsbille for the writting of some of the best books ever published by the WT, including the 'biblical encyclopedia' "Aid to Bible Understanding"

He knew the WT inside out, in fact many of us in this forum also know the WT even better than most inside the WT at the present time.

The common denominator among the participant of this forum is that we were able to "see" and/or were treated in very uncristian ways BY the org. (read CoC) or by indidivuduals and elders WITH the approval of the org.

You personally may be associated with a nice jw group AND your common sense have not been put to test.

I you ever question a doctrine or make a mistake, according to wt, your good pioneer friend will most likely be the one to first go to the elders and blow the whistle, that is how jw members are conditioned

What do you think of an org or government that fire or put in jail anyone for expressing a different point of view, or just question a policy? Shunning by your own friends and family is no better..

WT may have started with a good intention, obviously now many doctrines, if not all, were/are not even biblically based, not to mention reasonable. It is hard to beleive that individuals who start a religion have a bad intention.

Like any org, WT started ( still is ) covering up mistakes, spinning wrong doctrines, instead of to acknowledge it was a mistake, once discovered. "Victims of Victms", the show have to continue.

For example during 1995 wt had NO CHOICE but to discard the 1914 generation as the "LAST" one. A VERY IMPORTANT change which sent many jw into mental depression. I was shocked when i read about it, so was a DO friend o mine.

BUT they have NOT discarted, at least no publicly YET, 1914 as a pivotal year when the famous "2520 years" ended, they stick to 607 BCE.

If they do that the WHOLE THEOLOGY FRAMEWOKK comes down, mainly there would be no support for the FDS, faithfull and discrete Slave.

The FDS is THE keystone to the recent, 'modern' jw religion. They had to justify being a VERY new religion..

BTW the year 1975, was a fiasco for the WT, if you know what i mean. (read CoC). Also 1914 and 1925 were fiasco years. Prior to 1925 it was widely proclaimed that "millions now living will never die", since the 19 century when the WT started it has been one failed prophecy after another but they cover up with "new light"

Present WT is the product of a half smart lawyer, you know what lawyers are famous for, AND this one was very peculiar. .

"Take two pills", Read CoC first than anything else and call me in the morning.

Are people intrinsically good or bad?

one of the things we were constantly taught as jws was that the vast majority of the world are intrinsically bad; wicked enough to warrant destruction at armageddon.. last xmas, a film "love actually" (sentimental tat really but who says we don't need sentimentality occasionally) was based on the idea that everywhere people are in love and being loved.

also, a couple of tv documentaries shown recently in uk, michael palin's 'himalaya' and ewan mcgregor's 'long way round' had these intrepid travellers visiting remote corners of the earth.

it was striking just how friendly and helpful people can be to strangers.

wheter to break a law or not, the "answer lies in the eye of the beholder",

ok

but the result if you are taken before a judge is clear.

There are acts considered BAD by most people, sociaty in general, AND there are too many bad acts, intentional acts.

Compare to how many goods acts are performed without waiting for something in return, sooner or later..

Did you read CoC?

It seem to me that you think there MUST be an organization that is right about religion, has everthing figure out and approved by god. And you feel directed to the jw everytime...

Time of the end bible prophecy, specially spoken by jesus, does not show that any particular group of people can be clearly seen as directed by god. The "wheat" could not be visibly and apart from weed. Emphasis is on a personal relationship with god.

Jesus came to do away with organizations and rules. BUT humans feel atracted to groups and the need to be validated..., you seem to do ok by yourself. Approval by jw is extremely conditioned.

Many jw are good people just because that is what they are and they happen to form a group because of an ideal future presented to them by the org.;,

Presented to them most likely when they were in need for answers to frustrations. It is a chain reaction as someone who was at the top said: "victim of victims"

The org does not set example, history shows that they do not care much for people, the org is first ALL the time, just like any corporation.. individuals are disposable.

AND dont you EVER question WT teachings... or you will quickly find out...

rutherford?.

i place this in scandels and coeverups because there has been a bigtime coverup throughout the years on all aspects of rutherford's life.. it is high time for some light to be shown on him!.

Part of the problem is that "the judge" relatives, and who knows who else, did sign a silence contract.

I you break a silent contract a lawsuit can follow your relatives after you die...

Roadrunner Vs. DSL (vs. Dialup)

hey guys,.

we have roadrunner and i'm so disappointed in it i could scream.

when it works, it really is fast.

reliability will depend mainly on the service provider, rather than the technology.

althogh less things can go wrong with dsl

the download throughtput (how much data you get in a given time) is not only determined by the "speed" of your connection

but serveral other factors, such as the website (fast server) you are visiting

AND your ISP ability and willingness to "help" you. The pipe may be wide but the "valve" supplying you at the ISP can be halfway closed.

Finally cable modem has the potential to increase your speed eventually without major problems, at this point dsl is pushing the limits.

Else,

what some nations are doing now is showing that the they have the CAPABILITY to set up transportable rocket/atomic/bomb in a matter of days.

They say since we dont have anything in place... we are not provoking nor presenting a treat to anyone.

There is no need to be cynic nor physophical,

good and bad can be defined, good and bad actions can be filtered from the point of view of any "reasonable" person, which is the cretieria used in court of law.

Forget about circunstances, the environment etc etc as such variables ARE created by humans themselves. What some are saying (implicit) therefore is that human behaivor is the product of circunstanes created by human.

If a pc and software program turns out garbage because the input (circusntances) were not the best, still the problem is the pc and the software for no validating the input and rejecting it if neccesary..

Only a minority among humans will do that, reject the environment if is negative.

Something is wrong with most humans.... obviously the best thing to do is shut up.

Listen to this now,

a hi ranking jw says cuba strong guy is protected by 7 demosns.

No kidding, remember jw beleive satan gives power to whoever she wants. The JW guy is well respected i know him VERy well.

BTW

Cuba is not Irak, these people (just 90 miles south usa) have been preparing for the worst for too many decades.
