Never lost a thing to the thieves seenitall. I had a small amount of savings I left at the bank. I had a few co-workers hit by the Bethel thieves though.
Most of the drinking goofing off stuff I expected because of putting over a thousand 20 year olds together. The unusual acts of the Governing Body members and harsh policies are what shocked me the most.
One "policy" that bothered me was the amount of blood left over in some the organ meats WHILE blood fractions were being discussed.
without going into details, i'm doing some work on the recent feb 15th watchtower article, namely the experience that appears to excuse a husband beating his wife who is not sufficiently showing christian qualities, etc.. i am putting together a statement on the subject, and it occurred to me that the scenario of a violent husband beating his wife, then studying and becoming a witness is not entirely new in itself to the publications.
this alone is troubling, because there is repeated suggestion that staying with a violent husband is necessary in order to "win him over".

Never sold Pre-paid, but I have been a customer of Pre-paid for years. I had them write some nasty letters for me and answer questions. An Attorney friend contracted for them when he first graduated from law school, he is a smart guy that I wouldn't want to cross. He would come across some good cases from time to time thay made it worth his while.
Not a bad deal for 20 something bucks a month. Definately would scare most Elders away, and cheaper than even picking the brains of attorney friends- THAT costs an expensive meal or a return favor.
