  have you ever met people more suspicious and paranoid than jws?.

  "did you hear about the demon-possessed smurfs?....play that record backward and it says 'worship satan!

  '....world war 2 was started by satan as an attempt to eradicate jehovah's witnessess....the un has secret plans to attack religion soon - i heard it from my 3rd cousin's nephew's chiropractor....'they' are sneaking blood products into candy bars....".

  for me the best "cause" was soy, yes soy apparantly turns people into homosexuals, lmao!.

  what would really be funny is if someone who has an account could post some more insane stuff like that, like "playing with smurfs or my little pony causes homosexuality" or "eating too many cheese curls".lol.

  LOL!!

  I grew up in an area in the 50s and 60s with a HUGE homosexual community. We had a number of "confirmed Bachelors" and NPGs "non practicing gays" in our hall. I thought nothing of it nor did the JWs I knew then. I think we had about a half dozen gays in our hall. Never thought a thing about it, nor did most of the JWs in my hall.

  When I went to Bethel my first week in the seventies I was astounded by the high percentage of gay men AND by Knorrs bombastic Anti-gay rhetoric. (Especially since his right hand man Freddy Franz, held bible discussion groups wed nights in the sauna).My first week at breakfast 30+ guys were disfellowshipped for gay sex.

  I don't know what he expected -My first year I had 6 different roomates. I KNOW what would have happened if I had been assigned 6 different young SISTERS to room with that year ( I would have stayed!). People are people, a percentage of people are gay. Period.

  Has anyone made a "Botchtower" or "Asleep" using correct fonts and style?

  i am looking for a 1-2 page pdf or jpg i can copy and leave at donut shops early saturdays that will create a stir and be irresistable to young jws.. articles like "coffee breaks and true christians" , "donut fractions and true chistianity " "sparlock abandons olympics to pioneer" " should elders carry milliondollar liability policies" -" governing body approved sex positions for christians" punch line/cartoon on back with web links.

  to cedars video, jw facts, here or a comic site.

  teenage jws, hell all jws will pocket the flyer if possible and check out the links.. have any of our talented members done something like this in the past?

  I love that quote from the "young people ask" book!!!!!!!!! Great Art!! I can simply load "Sticker paper" or "iron on transfer" into my printer and make up some OUTRAGEOUS T SHirts and Posters to pass out in college towns...near where the JWs set up the "Witness booth" at US BERZERKLY and Stanford and the Castro in San Francisco....lol!!!!

  Perhaps Flipper will help me!! What a fun trip!!

  Whatever files the WTBTS has the true number is 2-3xs that many. I have seen cases where 6 children have testified against an abuser and he is appointed as an overseer a few years later if he moves from the circuit!!!!!!!!!!!

  Flipper how do I contact them? I have files on local servants.

  P.s. those WT files are only the tip of the iceberg. Many cases with victims in early teans were handled as "Pornia", or "Fornication" or "Homosexuality" because the VICTIMS were "at an age of reason" (old enough to be baptized) and didn't SCREAM . THESE victims were never reported as Child molesting.

  when i was younger (20s) i remember hearing an experience at a district assembly about a best-selling author who, in his book, wholeheartedly recommended employing jehovah's witnesses because they were honest, good workers ... etc.

  it seems like he couldn't recommend jw's enough.

  the speaker went on to read a page or two from the book, and stated it was a glowing recommendation from a 'worldly' author who regarded jw's very highly.

  There was a "Luna" in the Spanish Cong. Northern California who bilked a number of Widows out of tens of thousands of dollars 10-20 years ago. He left town with all the $$. Not certain he was baptized.
