JNAT, thanks for the link. Interesting stats. Seems the average user is a 40-60 year old male college drop out who stays on for an average of 15 minutes. LOL!!! "JW.ORG", "JEHOVAH WITNESS", "JW.NET and Leo Greenlees" are common search phrases used to come here. Weird info...I will have to think about that for a while. BIG jump in activity first 2 weeks of October....

Hummmm we need to start a thread titled: "Did Jehovah tell Leo Greenlees to start JW.ORG ?"- that should boost SEO.

so, i have it on very good authority that a co has recently been disfellowshipped in the uk.

he has just finished serving the north west london area.

i don't know any details but perhaps there is someone who does know what happened.

What was the name of the Black C.O. in the San Diego area who got caught in the hotel room by a JW in housecleaning with a hooker? 10+ years ago. Gosh..I forgot his name. He had served in Nor Cal at one time about 1990.

30 years ago one in AZ had sweet things tucked away in multiple congregations.

Jim, 3rd Gen got bored. The angle was some Amish never got baptized...so they were not "apostate"..and handled "dirty work" for the church. Made me laugh.

my family used to but i think that hope is dwindling now..

I have family members who have used that status successfully for years. They are viewed as "weak" or "Stumbled" not as apostates. They say they attend memorials and some meetings, but since they moved out of state no one knows. Everyone in the family "walks on eggs" around them so as not to stumble them.

Seems to be the perfect "Status" for an ex JW.

The Mrs and I watched this last night. seemed a bit contrived. However the main character is enterprizing. Rather than "outing" sinners he assists them and blackmails them. A little like Tony Sopprano.

Humm. Never thought about that angle as a JW. Could have been a wealthy man. The power of cult and tribe vs human desires and needs.
