i've read over the past months that jws are not wealthy.
however, i wonder if those that are wealthy, are they in a high position like elders, ms, co, do, bethelites?.
since i know of one here at work who does have yearly travel vacations to locales like las vegas, europe and the caribean.
I know one thing for sure, if you are a wealthy JW you only associate with ones in the Congregation that have money. Low income families are never included. Talk about class distinction eh? It also helps you get in good with the circuit overseer. Been there and seen it.

Hello Doingmypart. I have a few questions for you and can you answer honestly please, Are you a wolf in sheeps clothes? Is that why you are here as you put it, on the Dark Side? Forgive my for being leary of you I mean how one earth do you justify being an elder, congregation secretary and WatchTower conductor? What if you get caught? and finally if you are truly on the dark side, why don't you identify yourself? Or is your reasoning that you are an infiltrator wanting to help us, with our cause in proving the WTBS is not what it professes to be. This is in no way meant to be sarcastic I just need to understand. Thank you

i went to the meeting today to hear the public talk given by the visiting co. the talk dealt with jehovah's secret dwelling place and how we can all be taking advantage of "fleeing to safety" as it were, especially as the days are getting wicked as he mentioned.
he brought out the dangers of listening to apostates (there were 2 people in the congregation who disassociated themselves recently, which automatically meant that they were apostates according to the co's comments).
then he further elaborated on the fact that there were about 14,000 witnesses disfellowshipped in the usa each year and in canada 1400, about the size of a circuit assembly - also he said how terribly dishonorable it would be to be df'd and be as a dead person as it were (i felt so embarrassed as i am df'd) - during the talk he brought out two points which were extremely misleading if not outright lies: he said that just after the disaster of sept 11th, thousands of people "wanted to flee to security to the watchtower building and that they felt that they needed this security".

i must confess that her ladyship and i lived together for 6 months before we got married, so that must be, er...say 200?.
then we used to spend 3 nights a week gambling in tiberiuss casino, even after we got married, so.....umm, say another 250?.
i must have eaten black pudding, say, 100 times?.
I have committed many things, but because I am no longer a JW I don't consider anything I do as a wrongdoing. I consider all things a new adventure and I only answer to God.
I was more a hypocrite in the truth to desire what I now do in my life. When I honestly searched my heart I wanted to celebrate Christmas,birthdays the whole thing As I was not raised in the truth all my life. I was 13 when our family changed from anglicans to jws. I believe that longing for the chance to celebratethe these occaisinos made the work I did in the org, invalid in the eyes of God. I don't know if this makes sense to any one of you but I thought that maybe the biggest sin was longing for the things I left behind but really didn't in my heart. So that was probably the biggest difellowshipping offense I ever committed.

i have returned from a very busy 2 weeks and wanted to say i have missed being here.
now then, it is my pleasure to report that the city of las vegas is represented quite well, by our very own rekless and his lovely wife joanne, hope i spelled that right.
they were kind enough to fetch me from hotel, buy me beer, and feed me yummy homemade lasagne.

guess what happened to me this past sunday.

there was a group of them at ruby tuesday's (restaurant) and they were obviously taking the circuit overseer out for dinner.
