Why Are People Here So Disrespectful At Times?
by Eutapro ineu has noticed that a number of persons making up this forum are guilty of showing disrespect to jehovah's witnesses.
some refer to jws as 'hovahs and others talk about kingdumb hells, all the time professing to follow christ.. some may justify their rude behavior by saying that jws themselves can be rude.
even if the charge is true, and eu is not really convinced that it is, why cannot ex-jws rise above the fray?

jr brown stated, "it is possible out of the 77,799 elders in the usa that a few of them did not follow directions.".

Well I for one hope that some elders wise up and smell the smoke and say I am not going to take the blame for this. It will be interesting to see if there will be a drop in elders in the coming months.
I GUESS THE GOVERNING BODY IS AFRAID TO SAY ANYTHING THAT WILL TARNISH THEIR REPUTATION IN THE EYES OF THE CONGREATIONS AROUND THE WORLD -

Warning Re: fake emails

i have seen some emails that have been faked to look as though they came from me (and this site).
they typically have a subject line such as 'a nice game'.. please be careful about opening any emails especially if the have attachments.

Had Enough, I recieved that e-mail Postcards for you, I didn't open it and the other day I got an email and it had a virus but my virus scanner alertedd me and quarantined it. I have had several and I didn;t catch them and my son had to reinstall my whole system. It was the pits. Why are people doing this????

My daughter called this am/after 3yrs

as many of you know to well, it is a small blessing, but huge when it's coming from an active jw.. i have decided to leave off talking anything jw related, and just enjoy getting caught up on the latest in her life.. there is hope.. danny

Barbara, I found that the program was too short to discus the issues that needed to be addressed, but never the less, it did send out a powerful message that will make the general public and perhaps other JWs see that the WTBS is not all that it claims to be. They have many skeletons and I am sure that it is not over yet, pehaps other networks and talk show hosts will pick up on this and there will be more coverage of this. You and your family have put up a courageous fight and I applaud you and all others who have fought this fight and refuse to remain silent on this disgusting issue. You sound like a wonderful family and it would be a priviledge to know you. Please accept my sincerest love and graditude for your courage and convictions and to all others. Be Brave, this is one battle and many more are awaiting and we will prevail. Good luck Barbara. All my love

i had, just in case, set my vcr to begin recording....but....i had the time set for 8:00pm (i'm in the central time zone).

My Witness mother cried!
by morrisamb inthis segment, unbelievably 30 minutes long, was unusual on many levels.. the victims and silentlamb representatives did not come across as anti-witness crusaders.
they came across as loving members of the human race who are doing the right thing: reaching out and helping victims.
i truly believe some, not all, some witnesses will change because of this.. just wait until they read my book next month [father's touch]!

Barbara Anderson Disfellowshipped
by silentlambs inas of 1 pm today barb anderson was notified that she has been disfellowshipped in writing by the judicial committee in her congregation.
barb was df in absentia at a second hearing that was declared after she successfully defended herself against charges in the first hearing.
home office came back with further instructions to make it stick the second time around.

Well well well it was announced at Brooklyn breakfast table, they must be really worried about all of this. They never discuss that sort of thing at breakfast.
Barbara you are an inspiration to the world you hold your beautiful head up high and you show those bastards what you are made of. You have great courage as allof you who are standing up to and against the WTBS. Your battle has begun, charge and don't ever look back cause you got more on your side than they do on there side.
