Big Balls...Bill. Huge.
The only thing that could had topped it off is if you'd done a transmission neutral drop at their front door on your way outta there.
my disfellowshipping
as with anyone associated with jehovahs witnesses the worst possible news anyone can have is being df.
it means a loss of everyone and everything you have known all your life.

last night i called to do the "check-in" thing on my mom.
she had just been to the assembly and she was all fired up and decided to give me an earful.
apparently, at the assembly all in attendance were told that "this is it" the end is nigh and they should do all they can to prepare for the impending destruction about to befall everyone.
Have heard this numerous times from the hardcore older JW's
nearly one year ago, my doubts were brought to the surface from the deepest bowels of my brain.
in fact, this site scared the poop out of me!
but, facts are facts.
Anything printed that doesn't come from Jehovah comes from Satan
Just another example of them privately claiming direct inspiration from Jehovah, but publicly distancing themselves from by claiming infallibility. They constantly try to have it both ways.
I'm surprised you didn't walk out the door after listening to that.
.
hello all,.
i'm a newbie that's been lurking here for a couple of weeks, trying to get up the nerve to post.i've made the decision to da myself after months of thought and research.i'm not familiar with the procedure, though.is there anything that any of you feel is particularly important for me to know?do i have to go before a jc to da?if i refuse to,will they just df me?i prefer to make it clear that i am the one who is voluntarily leaving, but having been a victim of the kangaroo court proceedings on other occasions, i just can't bring myself to put myself in the elder's "loving" hands again (a story for another day).i'm fortunate that none of my family members are baptised or even active witnesses at this point.. any input would be much appreciated.. cicatrix
Why play by their rules? Why give them the satisfaction of knowing that even during your exit that you're bound by their flawed leadership? If you've truly come to the conclusion that they're all full of it write a DA letter only if you think it will clear your conscious but if not just walk away. They'll only announce that you've DA'd yourself anyway....not the reasons why. And, based upon this months insert in the KM, if you DA'd that's the equivalent of being DF'd anyway.
see http://blogs.salon.com/0001138/ for a sneak preview.. this is an update to this thread: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.asp?id=33892&site=3.
thanks,.

She was not happy that she had to tell a bunch of mop pushers and window washers such private matters, believe me.
Then why did she do it?
I'll never understand why people feel that they are duty bound and have to report to the janitors elders any possible perceived transgression against the WTBTS. Why do people succumb to this theory that the elders in the congregation or the WTBTS has the right to evaluate the most intimate details of a person's life to determine if they're in line with their constantly flip-flopping doctrine.
My wife is still in dubland, but, if that happened to her and those elders from her congregation came sniffing around my house questioning her like that, they'd get their ass kicked right before getting thrown out. And since they come in pairs, they'll have their second witness that I'm very "prone to anger!!!"
Bunch of assholes....
have you read the jw zone thread on bill bowen?.
http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.asp?id=33978&site=3.
i would like to hear your opinion.
Already read it. Just more JW apologist crappola let's do nothing to bring reproach protect the organization at all costs wait on Jah attack the messenger bullshit.
I ashamed to believe that I was once so deluded.

the teenager confessed before the court that he intended to have sex with the camel.
ghaith said the lashes will be administered in six installments of 40 lashes each with an interval of seven days.. .
It's too hard on the camels.
In more ways than one !!!

Either that or he's packing a lot of heat !!!!1
what does bad associations spoil useful habits actually mean....what are the bad associations and what are the useful habits
Those useful habits they don't want spoiled are running around selling their crappy little magazines.
i want to share since i'm new here!
i was more or less born into the jw religion and raised as one.
my mom was a pretty strict believer, but she didn't get baptized until i was 9, "surprisingly" my parents got divorced three years later.
I completely understand where you're coming from. I'm out but my wife and most of her family are still in and I have to occasionally bite my tongue also. I had a studying relative over trying to explain that major shift in the generation doctrine and the really hardcore JWs relatives got all bent out of shape because they thought the studying relative was nitpicking the organization. I'm just waiting for the perfect opportunity to introduce then to the UN fiasco. That should really blow them out the water. <div class=quote>So I really wish I could write that DA letter to my local congregation like so many of you have here. I'd be free to say who I am and where I live, but because of my family I have to hide all of that.</div> I'd take the advice of some on the board and not even worry about writing a DA letter to them. DA'ing is something dreamth up by their service\legal department to further pidgeonhole you into one of their neat little categories. I think it also signals further subservience to them by playing by their rules even during your exit. Just walk away and don't look back. Oh..and BTW...welcome to the board !!!!!!
