  an associated press release appearing in our newspaper a couple of days ago was titled umbilical blood may cure leukemia.

  it said, "blood from cord can create new immune systems for adults with disease.

  " the research was reported in debth in a recent new england journal of medicine.. and the use of blood is not really against god's law!

  We know what you're going through Venice. Welcome to the 'human race'! As you discard WT 'baggage' over time, I'll bet you are finding you have a 'heart' for people and are beginning to like people more, instead of your previous training of being 'suspicious and judgemental' of everyone.

  And you'll realize that there are a lot of things out there that there just isn't an answer for. But thats the 'real' world. You're just 'deprograming' yourself and all things are proceeding as 'normal'!

  i enjoyed englishman's post about americans vs europeans.

  i chose to start a new thread because i want to take the topic in another direction.. the usa is still a young nation and an enigma.

  the nation was created by european settlers who wanted to get away from things they did not like about europe, especially religious intolerance and inflexible governments, and have the opportunity to build a new future.

  Krispy Kreme

  on tuesday june 5, krispy kreme opened a store here.

  for months .

  mouths have been watering for the wonderfully divine gastronomic .

  I would have loved waiting in line as a JW for a Krispy Kreme doughnut, as I would have been having a coffee break, and kept my field service time running. Maybe I could have gotten an hour and a half just there!

  Watchtower 'Moles'?

  the cia, israel's mossad, and many other intelligence gathering organizations, plant 'moles' in various places to keep an eye on whats going on (spying).. do you personally believe the society has planted 'moles' in various places?

  do they have people in the media (television, radio, newspapers, and news magazines) do they have infiltrators in ex-jw ministries?

  are they in the post offices watching the mail.

  The CIA, Israel's Mossad, and many other intelligence gathering organizations, plant 'Moles' in various places to keep an eye on whats going on (spying).

  Do you personally believe the Society has planted 'Moles' in various places? Do they have people in the media (television, radio, newspapers, and news magazines) Do they have infiltrators in ex-JW ministries? Are they in the Post Offices watching the mail. Are they controlling some Internet providers? Are they 'paying off' officials to control things the way they want to have them go?

  If so, they forgot one thing! They're dealing with a 'living God' and he cannot be outsmarted. They loose!

  JW's & The Clergy

  after i left the organization one of the things that surprised me most was the clergy of christendom's view of jehovah's witnesses.

  i thought we were the 'center' of their attention, and they not only hated us, but were afraid of all the things we published about them.. nothing could have been farther from the truth!

  most ministers hardly knew anything about witnesses.

  After I left the Organization one of the things that surprised me most was the Clergy of Christendom's view of Jehovah's Witnesses. I thought we were the 'center' of their attention, and they not only hated us, but were afraid of all the things we published about them.

  Nothing could have been farther from the truth! Most Ministers hardly knew anything about Witnesses. You couldn't hardly get one mad at one and some would not let you speak about them in their respective churches because some felt they were actually a good religion.

  Quite a few viewed them as a novelty, certainly felt no threat because of their existence, and for the most part didn't have a clue what they believed. They also never wasted their time reading the Watchtower and Awake nor had an interest to do so. A lot of JW's don't read them either!

  Of course back in the 30's and 40's if a JW pulled up a sound car in front of a church and blasted them during their services, I suppose a few of the clergy noticed that but today?

  Have any of you had similiar experiences with the Clergy? Listen up you JW's out there, these people are not out to get you!
