  austin, texas, dec. 15 (upi) -- a watchdog group charges a nuclear warhead nearly exploded in texas when it was being dismantled at the government's pantex facility near amarillo.

  the project on government oversight says it has been told by knowledgeable experts that the warhead nearly detonated in 2005 because an unsafe amount of pressure was applied while it was being disassembled, the austin american-statesman reports.

  you know the type....always taking, never giving, always looking to take advantage of someone......and i don't like liars all that much either.

  divorce question

  my soon to be ex-husband's father is the presiding overseer of the congregation and his entire family is very spiritual - including my husband's sister and her husband who serve in gilead.. to make a long story short, my husband and i used to serve in bethel but eventually left.

  we moved around the nyc area where we both took on full time jobs, pursued our four year degrees, and led pretty successful lives.

  i left the organization, because i was tired of gossip, etc and half of my family was disfellowshipped.

  In the long run, God will get him! As Jesus said, "There is nothingcovered over that will not become uncovered, and secret, that will not become known". (Matt:10:26)

  He will of necessity, still be in the 'trap', and have to live the lie, which becomes very stressful as time goes along. Plus God may put some 'stumbling blocks' in his way that he will have to deal with too.

  Are any of these people that were lied to, anyone you want as friends anyhow? Forget them, and move forward, with your head high, and no regrets. Find someone more decent to spend your life with.

  I have one of their albums (CD) entitled just THE IRISH TENORS. The first song on the album is Minstrel Boy followed by 20 other titles. I like it too.

  i am conflicted as to whether i can or even want to believe in god.

  (using capital g out of respect) i can't separate love of god and my jw life.

  i pioneered for 10+ years, and thank goodness for that, because i can now easily memorize anything and read upside down.

  i have been absent much for almost a year, reading, learning and breaking out of boxes, figuratively.

  i'm hoping that sharing some thoughts and asking some questions might be fun, and maybe helpful for a few.

  have you wondered how two people can look at the same information, go through the same experience as you, perhaps even be party to the same conversation yet come away with an entirely different perception?

  If you drive a 'Mini-Cooper' you notice every other Mini on the road. If you are a plasterer, you walk into a room with your 'head up' looking at the ceilings etc., and if you are in the glass business you notice the windows in every building you enter. Others might not even notice things you notice, because they are noticing and looking at other things. So, while we all may see the same things, we are not all 'aware' of the same things. I think this carries over into 'spiritual' things to, such as our view of God, what he is doing or not doing, and awareness of such things as Watchtower teachings and leadings.

  Related to awareness are things that happen to us such as 'paradign shifts' in our beliefs and 'epiphanys' of what we become aware of.
