  Dubs and doorbells -- has there been some "new light"?

  this afternoon my husband looked out the window and saw two unmistakable dubs shuffling up our street.

  he didn't have time to warn me before they came to our door (he knows i get a bit testy whenever they visit).

  i was in a nearby room, but heard nothing, saw nothing.

  Personal Testimonies. No arguments with them. If they happened they happened. Such doctrinal things as the Trinity, etc., they have been arguing about for thousands of years and still have not agreed on the nature of God or what happens when we die.

  Comments on the 30 Minute Public Talk

  i must admit, the 30 minute public talk is more "improved" over the older version(s).. the next step should be to reduce the watchtower study to 45 minutes.

  in that way, with songs and prayers, you are out the door in an hour and a half.. rub a dub.

  Better than shorter meetings, how about skipping them altogether! That's the best.

  Letter to my Gran

  this is a letter i'm sending to my gran, i've still used some jw terminology in order to reach out to her.. dear gran,.

  i want to let you know from the outset that i still love you, perhaps more so now than ever before.

  i love everything about you and accept you, your beliefs, everything that makes up phyllis.. as you know i've wanted to see you again, pretty much to tell you the above and to let you now that i'm doing very well.

  Well, after believing and supporting an Organization for so long, it will take great humility to admit you might have been wrong. But at least a seed was planted in your Gran's heart, and maybe God will have pity on her and help it to grow.

  i'm sitting by the phone because my son and daughter in law will become parents any minute.

  contractions are 1 minute apart, so it looks like bailey will be born today...on my birthday!

  how many of you, when you were jw's had the security code '1914' in your home system?

  Some time ago, I asked this question on the old H2O, but many of you are new. I'm curious.

  How many of you, when you were JW's had the security code '1914' in your home system?

  I think a lot of JW's were subjecting themselves to robbery with that number. They no doubt now use a different number with the old date fading?
