Jayhawk, I have also used wild Oregano oil. It helped somewhat, but my condition is caused by symptoms of immunological chronic urticaria , so a combination of zyrtec, singular, allegra and salt water nasal washes are what I need to combat sinusitus. To tell the truth , for immediate relief (like I said before) the warm salt water snort is the best.

"'Cause breakin up is hard to do...sha na na na na na..."

how do you end a relationship with someone kindly and efficaciously?
limit your answers to relationships with someone you have been seeing for under 3 months.

Bradley, I agree with phantom. Don't make justifications and reasons why, tell her you don't feel that your relationship is what you want. Simple, good bye.

Well, wouldn't it be nice if our government protected us from "totalitarian cults", and from now on I will call the WTS a totalitarian cult ... everything is controlled.

real reason
by freddi indoes anyone look on this site to see if the j.w.
's are setting a new date for armegeddon?
what is your real reason for constantly logging onto this site..armegeddon?

Why oh why do I come here --- certainly not for anything except jokes about Armegeddon.
I'm here because there are people like me here --- xjws. There are some intelligent (and not so intelligent) debates; loads of web site links to important information; and I don't have to explain "where I'm coming from."
I admit I enjoy Blondies WT comments. But sometimes I just sigh because I know so many ppl who believe everything the WTS says. Religion really is a snare and a rackett.

About 25 yrs ago in Seaside Oregon a dub family had foster kids who were mentally challenged. The girl was molested by her dub foster father. It all came out after I left that area, but another elder had also molested several young sisters there too. A religion which gives men the authority is just planting the seeds for pedophiles.
No the foster kids should not be made to attend church services and yes the gov't should pay for a babysitter.

Badger, The young sisters have no real character, they aren't allowed to develope any way except physically. They are only interested in finding a good match as per their parents and cong. I have seen this backfire more times than I have fingers to count on.
The older a sister gets, the more she is used to caring for herself, I'm guessing that she will be worried about giving up her autonomy. I had a few friends like this too. It seems that many sisters w/o kids are fine staying single (of course some of them are dating worldly guys or gals)
There are many sisters with kids who do want to get married.
I knew a brother who went to serve where the need is greater in the Appalachian mts. He was 32 and married a sister there whi was 19. They were happy because she did whatever he wanted because he took her away from there.
So many stories... Badger, you will certainly catch that ladies eye. Try to go to book clubs or take an art class ... women go to those places. Women also take mechanics classes to meet men.

Enishi, I'm not sure about the timing of all the Bible Battles. Some were myth not history so the timing isn't important but the timing of the writing is important. The Jews needed a history to bring them together. They had tons of material from the Babylonian captivity (including the Hammurabi code). And they also had info on magician priests, babies in the river etc. Why I always wondered, did Jehovah not change Moses Egyptian name when he changed many other names? Even Abraham, Sarah, Jacob got name changes. But the magician Moses kept his EGYPTIAN moniker. Go figure...
I agree that the Bible god had multiple personalities. When you mix cultures your gods won't stay the same. Look at the way Jesus changes from martyr to loving-god depending on where you heard about him. Mary has changes for the Western Europeans to be a blond, then to SA to their own goddess (Our Lady of Guadalupe) with dark hair and the symbols of both Mayan and Spanish cultures surrounding her.
Check out Jack Miles GOD a Biography. The author discusses the many personalities of god and treats those with a literary critique. Because afterall we're talking about a god written by men. Like any ancient god he's a greator and a destroyer; he's a legislator and a general; he is holy as well as fiend, you get the picture. It's a quick read.

Czar, You must've read tons of those philosophic tomes because you have become a hegemon. I like your reasoning (except for calling Nietzche a rambler). And Yes a library should have both the successful and unsuccessful records.
I am wondering though how to teach the successful and unsuccessful to kids? How will they learn when their parents don't know either? How do you know what to look for if you've never heard the words before?
Us and other primates, only 1.5% difference.

The best for quick relief is to take some salt in the palm of your hand, add very warm water and snort into your nose. Do one side at a time (so you will be breathing not dying) , The salt helps to relieve the infection and the warm water gets the gunk moving. Do this at least twice a day.
