I was told by the elders if i proceed with my divorce i will..
by anakinsrise inlose my standing in the congregation,but my duties vanished 2 years ago anyway,no one has commited adultery in the relationship.
and its odd if i had slept with another woman,i could divorce,return to the hall, sit there like a stone for 8 months to a year,get reinstated,and become and elder 1 day.
is that insane or what?

insane... yes, insane. It is so amazing that if you do nothing wrong, just get out of an unhappy marriage and you're toast. And especially irritating to the X-spouse because they can't remarry either. Although some crafty CO will figure a way.

Salt-- definitely, salt. At the movies I like the real butter that thankfully so many theaters have gotten back to using.
Shamus, Have your ever read Poe's The Tell Tale Heart ? He kept hearing the old man's heart beating in the room lubdub lubdub lubdub lubdub lubdub lubdub, I think that and the smell of death from under the floor boards would make me swear off murder and cannibalism ... but it only made Poe's murderer more insane and he confessed to the police because he could not stand to hear the low down crunch of lubdub.

WT Farm Graveyard

Boolean WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME that was quite an eye opener for you and for your fellow employees. I wouldn't say you defended so much as corrected information... now that I do often. Mainly I want dubs recognized as a cult and so I talk about the real stuff they teach and preach. Actually the real WTS is much more scary and cultish than the mis-information.

A 15 min rule? you're kidding ... If this is a trend then maybe field service will phase out and "witnessing" will be strictly giving away literature. Then again anyone can say "I must've witnessed for 15 min this month" ...and then write that down. Wow
I also agree about the different groups who only pay attention to their own kind. The GOOD witnesses and then the sometimes/sometimes not group. I remember dubs who would disappear for awhile, but return. Now that I think about it I do remember more and more "young ones" leaving, fading or DF'd. I remember a few df'd just a few months after baptism. BUT I also saw a few in college, maybe 19 or 20 yrs old. And they were very vocal about being jws, and one who knew me and that I'd da'd really gave me the cold shoulder and took off if she saw me coming up to her.
So, revolving door.. not really.

Since he is your boss I guess you can't just ask him why he won't go to lunch when you go to lunch. If he said something like, "you know why" then you'd know why. At that point you might like to remind him that religious prejudice has no place at the workplace.
