my parents gave my addess to the elders without asking me
by besunny inso my folks went to the meeting today and somehow i got brought up and they gave them my address so they can call on me because i'm inactive,i am upset about it because they didn't ask me first,i told my parents i wish they hadn't of done that without asking me first and my dad's response was are you not baptised?
and i said yes when i was 17 and i don't want to talk to anyone (i'm 51 now) and want to avoid any discussions that may cause me to lose my relationships with family that is still in,,so now i feel my successful fade will be jeapordized.

This is what woke me up and why I left this religion, from the age of 4 to my early 40's I was a witness,,I married a brother in my 20's who was a pioneer,,he was the boss and controlled everything,I had no say in nothing,he isolated me from family and friends, hit, choked, spit, cut my hair off, took my car away,at one point wasn't allowed to watch tv,,the list goes on,when initially I went to the elders l was counseled that I must be doing something to cause this,it left me depressed and thinking I'm crazy,,,where was Jehovah's protection for me and my kids,,it wasn't there,,,when I left for the last time I decided I would go on with my life,,and what totally makes me madd is that you can't remarry if you decide to leave a abusive spouse,,,so again more abusive rules and control,,I'm still bitter because of this treatment and wasted time of feeling stuck with no options,,but I faded and am happily remarried to a wonderful man who has never been a witness,,,there is a life outside this cult

=( Sad... waking up my mom is going to be next to impossible
by ILoveTTATT inmy mom showed me how ferocious a mind-controlled person may be.. i started talking to her about the septuagint... i don't know at what point the conversation went wrong but she just got angry and said, "well, i trust that jehovah has kept the bible intact... i want to end this conversation"... and i said, "mom, you haven't even let me finish.
"i don't want to continue this conversation!
stop the car".

My parents are also hard core JWs and I am their only child who has faded over the last few years, anyway to make a long story short,my mom became very ill over the last year and has lost her vision along with this illness, the subject of a blood transfusion came up due to anemia, when trying to reason with my father about it he said he would absolutely let her die before even thinking about letting her have one,he became angry with me for even trying to reason with him about it,my husband who has never been a witness was shocked by this behavior.I have tried over the last several months to nicely reason on other subjects but don't get anywhere,so l have decided just to shut up! it is sad what a hold this cult has and sickens me.

I have had what I guess could be described as paranormal experiences where I used to live, all my family members did too,,,haven't had any since we moved from that house,,but I don't attribute that to demons but something was there

I hope it is!! if we match I will give her mine,,I would appreciate any input you have,,,her RBC and WBC count is decreasing,,and I know when it reaches about 7.9 (RBC's) they will suggest to transfuse,,and I know she will refuse she would rather die...It is a very upsetting situation,,but I'm trying to figure out what can be done before it comes to that,,,thank you in advance!!!
