The ECHO of broadcast emotions..........the empty chair where "god" sits
by Terry ini spent sunday with a number of ex-jw's in a very pleasant get-together.
we all discussed the usual things, of course.. one thing i always notice.
how much of the "flavor" of god remains in one form or another.. with ex-jw's the distaste for religion is the strongest without necessarily including distaste for "belief".. religion is the package and god is the contents, you might say.. but-wait, there's more!.

The true, unsung hero of the Bible....
by Unlearn inmy undisputed hero of the bible is known by several names, depending on who you talk to...devil, satan, lucifer, etc.. read it, and you'll find that he was the only one who really stood up for you.. he asserted that you could make decisions for yourself...and told you the very real truth that, just because the piece of meat in your chest stops thumping, you positively do not 'die'.. he was your hero.
he stood up to a daddy-maniac and said, 'just because you made us doesnt mean you have the right to tell us what to do.
i thought we were free?'.

Fallout 2014
by wobble income 2014 even some dubs must start to ask wtf jesus has been doing for one hundred years, and there is a big potential for many to leave.. what more will the wt bull**it (writing) department come out with to keep the poor little drones feeding the hive, and maintaining the gb's rock-star life-style ?.
the over-lapping generation tripe will be getting on for five years old by then, surely "noo lite" will shine that makes the big a even closer or somesuch ?.
come on chaps, those poor saps in writing need your best ideas.

2014 is only going to be significant to those that already have doubts and are looking for an excuse to leave. Every little helps though.
The majority of witnesses won't find this a difficult subject. The org. can use the date to their advantage anyway. Imagine something like this in the literature:
"It has now been 100 years since Jesus was installed as King in heaven. This means our preaching work is more urgent than ever before! Clearly there can not be much more time left for this wicked system of things."

I'm only trying to help here. You will never have justification for holding those beliefs, because they are so contrary to everything we now understand about life and the earth history. You're taking an unecessary burden on yourself by trying to prove Genesis. Not to mention 'the truth' about these subjects is already known, you don't have to do any searching. It's out there, published, waiting for you to read it.

You admit yourself you can't answer every problem. By openly trying to accept the book of Genesis as literal and factual, you will never be able to answer the hundreds of problems therein. If you just accept it as mythological you'll really reduce your workload. And you cannot suggest the evidence for Adam & Eve, The Flood is equivalent to the evidence for Evolution.
You're also using a bias when evaluating the book's validity, by saying that 'because the Bible is right here, this part must be accurate too'. Sure, the Bible contains some historical details. It also contains a lot of allegories, and impossibilities. Agreeing with one part isnt a sound basis for blindly accepting the rest, otherwise we could just as easily follow the Greek or Egyptian or other Ancient Gods. And that's not common sense.
Use your thinking faculties, scrutinize the whole book. Don't be lazy and don't assume!

by La Falta Habitacion Por Sr Hor-Hey!! incheck this out....... ***w871/1p.14theywillbecertaintofightagainstyou,buttheywillnotprevailagainstyou***.
deliverance has often come through being identified as one of jehovahs witnesses.
because of the house-to-house preaching, people get to know who the witnesses are and what their position is on issues of the day.

The first story is great, but they left out the ending!
"The terrorists escorted the Witness away, and then proceeded to murder the entire village."
Truly heartwarming.

World Could End Soon (Oh, Crap)
by metatron ini hate gloom and doom but sadly..... http://www.latimes.com/news/science/la-sci-solar-storms-20120505,0,6214500.story?page=2&sc=7369001384796169482.
this is no laughing matter.
a major cme or flare could wipe out civilization by destroying power grids everywhere.. this is why i get so angry about global warming hysteria - there are far more serious threats that could emerge in months, not decades ahead.. i also understand that a small asteroid is scheduled to come breathtakingly close to hitting earth in two years.

we can have emerging events like Fukushima - treated as if it was something trivial. . .
You kidding me? It was on the news non-stop for weeks when it happened. And even if it WASN'T covered so heavily, it has no connection with the legitimacy of End Time predictions. Draw me a line please.

A prominent group of psychic remote viewers, formerly associated with the CIA and Defence Intelligence is flatly predicting that 95% of the human race may die.
My fave line from OP.
Here's my prediction - 100% of the human race will die. Mostly down to one too many Big Macs. And I didn't even get my PhD in Psychic Bullcrappery.
