i did this because i saw you were in an ex jehovah's witness recovery group.
Never mind BP she still has the programming to get thru. It took me some time to adjust my eyes from the blinding light of the WTS and see the real truth. She will either come around to being your friend or return to the Washtowel Society. Good on you for trying at least.

when charles taze russell, or judge rutherford, or fred franz published magazines, pamphlets and books about future matters.....the future they spoke about had not yet happened.
whatever they wrote could well be true.
what reasons they gave could be sound ones.
Take a step even further back before Russell and you have the Millerite movement which was a break away from main stream religions. Its time prophecies failed and these ones didnt want to return to their old churches formed the 2nd Adventism churchs such as the Seventh Day Adventists and the Christadelphians and from these sources Russell nicked plenty of his ideas tho never once acknowledging them as his source.
Apostasy is the basis for the WTS and will ever be such.

" moments.

The WTS likes to gloat that they were the only religion"awake" when the Lord returned , gives them the self righteous attitude of the Pharisees.
BUT what about the other 2nd Adventist religions who on 1914 were closer to what the christian persona was then and still do as opposed to the WTS who are steering off course just to be different from other religions.
I believe the WTS speaks volumes in its silence in reference to the other 2nd Adventist religions.Why? Ashamed they were not the cleanest on the inspection day?
They will make up whatever they like and it will be swallowed by every JW. For me its too late , like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz ive seen behind the curtain and know there is nothing there except insidious self empowerment ans spiritual harlotry!

just curious if anyoner has.. you can download the ajwrb brochure from ajwrb.org, and send in the page that is pre-addressed to the watchtower society, and basically says that you have donated blood and that the blood you donated will likely be transfused int a jw saving their lives.
it then suggests a "thank you" might be in order from ther watchtower since your own life blood was sacrificed so that jws could be saved.. i think this is a powerful action.
i hope the wt gets lots of these cards, and i can't wait until someone posts the "thank you for the thought" (cuz we all know that's how they are going to word it right?
Yep going to give blood next week so i will send that note to the watchtower with pleasure

the writers of jw literature tend to use a lot of fluffy catch phrases / words to support their reasoning.
e.g.. likewise today (likewise in our time)evidentlywhat are some you've noticed?.

im assuming we all realise the gb may be many things but the individuals are not fools.
given the changes in ideas, formulation of new light and so on, do they buy the fascade they are presenting ?
