Psalm 50: JEHOVAH'S JUDICIAL RULINGS

the 50th psalm is one of jehovah's as-of-yet-unrevealed judicial decisions that will become operative upon his people during the tribulation.

the following is a brief overview of the chapter.. "the divine one, god, jehovah, has himself spoken,.

and he proceeds to call the earth.

"those now in rebellion against God will chose to die rather than submit to
his word."

The rebellion is not against God, it's against those who say that God has sent them with some "special" message and claim to be the mediator between us and Jesus.

But I must admit, You do know something...I WOULD RATHER DIE than to submit to the legalistic approach to religion as is the case with the WTBTS. Because you see as I figure it, and so do you, there is no hell, there is nothing after life but eternal sleep (except for the 144,000, as you say) so what do I have to fear? Death? HA!

There is nothing that You or the WTBS or the streets that I grew up in or the countries that I have been to that will scare me by saying that I will die forever. So again,

You KNow nothing so change your strategy guy.....you bore me.

well, here it is, after almost 20 years 12 of those serving in position of responsibility it comes down to my spiritual execution(jw style).

allow me to explain.

for those who you who still remember me from h20 under the name truthexodus i came to post my experience as an elder of local congregation in nyc area.

It their loss, the WTS is hurting for elders especially P.O.'s like you used to be. Good men are hard to find.

But thats alright , I think Fred wants to be in charge for awhile.

Vietnam War Pioneers

during the same weekend conversation which stimulated my recollection of "1975 stockpiling", i also recalled the "vietnam war pioneer" phenomenon -at least that's what i call it.

i thought i would post something about it to see if others remember this.. during the 1960s, when the draft started to supply troops for the vietnam "conflict", a phenomenon developed in our area, at least, and i'm wondering if this occurred nationwide?

(i can't remember if this was officially handled in the mags and from the stage, or if it was just another one of those things that was affected quietly behind the scenes.).

My father served and I was told by my mother that he was never the same. He would only talk to us about once a day briefly. He had an old scrap book in his closet that he would only look at like once every 5 years while drunk and crying. His friends in those pics. never came back. The only one that did still lives in my neighborhood collecting cans and drunk most of the time.

My dad died earlier this year and only now can he find the rest that he's been looking for all these years.

Everyone makes their own types of contributions and sacrifices you might think that yours is not important but to your family it was probably the biggest decision you could have made...and the best.

i have been lurking for months now and want to say hello.

i was raised a jw and am now 46yrs old.

i stopped attending meetings at the beginning of this year for various reasons and only then gained the courage to check the net and see if anyone else like me was out there.

Hello Cassandra and welcome,

I think that all of us here has gone through that same situation, thats why we all come here to chat with each other and find a certain amount of comfort in knowing the similiar circumstances that brought us here.

My wife was the same way as your husband; she did not want to reason over the set rules.

But what did it for her was the way that I was interrogated 5 times by the C.O. and then by the elders over a blood quetion that was asked to me by a "spiritually weak" brother. Since I was an M.S. pioneer and already recommended for elder this brother thought that I might have an answer.

I did not so I turned to the elders. Instead of just saying that they did not know anything, 2 months past and waited for the C.O. and then "told" on me. Said that I was trying to undermind the brother's spirituality! Can you believe that?!

At this time I still had no knowledge of any "apostate" thinking of info. Yet I was still called to a Judicial Commitee and stripped of my position and told that I waould have to demonstrate maturity so I can get to my posotion again.

After that noone, I mean NOONE, has called me since. And although I'm not disfellowshipped or anything, they had a talk that warned people about "smooth talkers" who are intelligent and can word their way around things.

After that the JW's started their usual gossip routine which ruined my rep. and my "mother's, brother, sisters" which I have known since I was BORN, no longer loved me. Till today noone has still contacted me.

That did it for my wife, she saw that there is really no true love but only harsh rules and regulations that don't come close to what Jesus taught. So now we are both happy to be free and glad to have friends like those on this board who can help us trough tuff times.

Hope we can do the same for U.

ELDER IN NYC MOLEST NIECE!!

truely sad how more and more cases are surfacing.. this latest in a spanish hall in uptown manhattan, nyc.. i've known this elder for many years, he's the type that swears he is the most righteous, the most strict and most "spiritual".. 7 years ago he and his wife took temporary custody of their 2 nephews and 1 niece, she was about 7.. this because their mother was disfellowshipped and did not fulfill her responsibility with the minors.. everyone in the hall thought that he was a god..he took them under his roof , clothed them and fed them and above all took them an field service and to the meetings.. he would always walk holding his niece's hand..but noone thought anything about it..until about 3 weeks ago when the accusations were made and brought to the elders.. he is on the run and has not been seen since last week.

the authorities have not been notified (typical wts).. he was escorted out of their home by the nypd but only because he refused the counsel to leave the premises.. what excuse was given to the police to lead him out, i don't know.

but after that he tried to bunk in with a pioneer sister from his hall but when she found out about all this (being that jw's know how to keep confidential matters to themselves),.

Source just told me that the niece is getting pressured into not talking to anyone about this situation.

If thats the case then I don't see the authorities getting involved,.......unless they get an anonymous call..

She probably had a one night stand with some guy and now feels bad and in order to rectify what she did, she wants you to go ahead and at least do it once with some other girl. She knows that you're not the type to sleep around so she knows that if you do it once it won't be so bad for her to deal with.

jesus further related in the 15th chapter of john: "nevertheless, i have spoken these things to you that, when the hour for them arrives, you may remember i told them to you.

these things, however, i did not tell you at first, because i was with you.

so, the point is that jesus has not told his anointed ones certain things yet because the hour for them has not arrived.

Getting back to your anylisis of the Iraqi forces and how they built them up thru the last decade, they indeed have built up their army but not their "forces". Let me explain it to You like I did my daughter:

The U.S. Army spend millions on specialized training-Iraq does not. An american Ranger or Special forces soldier is exactly that ;like their motto goes " You mess with the best..You die like the rest".

Iraqi "elite" guard is nothing more than a few men who were given a crash course in repelling and weapons handling. I can give my daughter's 3rd grade class ak47's and they would be considered a "force" who can do damage. That is exactly what
Iraq is dealing with. Their soldiers throw their weapons down with the slightest glimpse at us. Believe me they are not a force. Again only the lunacy of their leader must be watched.

You can believe and predict anything you want but You know nothing. My last tour their was May -Sept. 2000 and I don't recall seeing you there. So try and stick to things that you actually know about.

As for Godrules,

JW's don't go out endless hours trying to save people, they go out because you need to get the $$ for the literature.

Let me show you how I can prove it: Go to your meeting and tell your P.O. that from now on you just want to preach using your Bible and that you no longer want to "place" magazines, that if the people have any quetions you will gladly call on them. See what he tells you. When he convinces you that thats not wise ask him that if the early Christians understood the Bible truths without magazines and books and went preaching without them and it WORKED!, Why do we need them today?

I bet you will be interrogated within a few days and "relieved" of any position of which you treasue. And if you get upset and don't show humility, you'll be all up in a judicial comm.

Good 'ol JW's always predictable.

Watchtower Stock Gamblers?

it was recently pointed out in another thread, the business mode of certain organizations to persuade people who have accrued a substantial estate to turn their holdings over to the organization in return for which the organization agrees to support them with a certain agreed income for the remainder of their life.

the advantage for the organization comes with investing the money in stock or bond funds for an anticipated higher return than they expect to pay to the invester/doner, as well as getting the whole thing after the investor dies without any inheritance penalty.

(is this a fair statement of the issue?).

"Exodus" just left on vacation for 2 weeks but he has a site on homestead somthing in which he scanned the very hard to come by Watchower investment guide. He put it up on an old post on H20 I booked marked it but I changed browsers and am trying to find the address.

But you have to read this info. Its a book thats only given to certain P.O.'s of Congo. that have bro's and sis's that express interest in making some type of donation. It also shows how they will invest your money and actually cut you a check for the profits monthly if you want. It even says you can use it for your childs schooling!! (the returns)

Again Exodus has the book in his possesion (he is still a P.O. although they're on to him) and has scanned it. If I find the site I'll post it.
