  They are still pushing the Elders to contact DF'd and inactive folks. I bet me and the Mrs do not hear a word from the Elders, I hope not in fact, but not doing so goes against the directive from the G.B.

  The motivation for this is obvious, suck a few more back in to make Donations, because of course we are in the "final part of the Last Days" so a Bulging Bank Account is so important for the G.B at this time.

  I also notice that obeying " Caesars Law", sensible of course, has been used again, but what about all those Dubs who ignored that in the past, again under direction by the G.B, at risk to their personal Liberty and often Life ? I wonder how they, or their families that remember this, feel about it now ? probably too Mind Controlled to realise that Scriptures are only plucked out to use for the convenience of the G.B at the time, not to be obeyed in all circumstances.

  In the U.K they said no more than two people, in addition to household members, to form a group. I imagine the Jdubs will tell them to all add to their risk by inviting two dubs to join each family for the Memorial Farce. Thus spreading the Virus. They are that ignorant.

  ...tell the sheeple that "jehovah's earthly organization" is financially facing critical times, hard to deal with, which could threaten its survival and that it urgently requires as much money as the minions can send.. like every other business in the world, the cult needs a constant source of cash to exist.

  so with meetings, assemblies, and probably conventions being cancelled, the cash-cow is rapidly looking very precarious.. i reckon the financial brains in the wtbts will have devised a financial survival plan - based on the situation continuing/worsening.

  :) the sheep have all been fleeced - time to skin them!.

  it was a long process for me, as a mind controlled born in, things i simply did not agree with, or knew were downright wrong, that built and built, and, eventually i woke up, after 58 bloody years in !.

  but just mainly for fun, what should have woken you up ?.

  Covid-19 (Coronavirus) - Status Update Thread

  this topic is to focus on status updates & advice (no opinion or politics please).. status.

  latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.

  the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

  Because it is a Tory Government, they care nothing for 99% of the people they " Govern", they only care about the Economy and protecting their own wealth, and that of their friends and donors.

  This particular Tory Government is no different from all the Tory governments of the last 150 years or so in the above. What is remarkable about this particular shower of shit is that they have managed to put in to position an entire Cabinet and a Prime Minister, all of whom are not only not qualified for what they need to do, but are even the least qualified among their Party, none of whom are themselves actually that well qualified !

  Rumor of Religion wanting to contact Inactives

  i saw a post on reddit from somebody claiming to be an elder that the jw religion wants to contact all inactives.. some of the responses indicate that some were contacted or had close friends or relatives being asked for their contact information.

  some of these people have been out of the jw religion for many years and have moved on.

  the ones contacted said the jw informed them about cancelled meetings (as though they would care).

  So far we have not been approached. I always view any JW pushing their beliefs or agenda on us as fair game for some forthright replies.

  I think this is well known by my JW family, and other local JW's so doubt we will hear anything, if we do it will be a written communication I would think, again fair game for some real truth to be given to them, not least mentioning the woefully, downright dangerous, "advice" they are getting from their leaders.

  the independent inquiry into child sexual abuse (iicsa) is holding a public hearing in the child protection in religious organisations and settings investigation for the next two weeks.

  Corona Virus - What a UK Virologist says!

  in an interview on the bbc yesterday, a virus expert laid it on the line:.

  he basically said that until the vast majority of people have been infected (or eventually vaccinated) and are then immune from re-infection, the problem will not go away.

  in other words, virtually all of us may be infected before a vaccine is delivered, thereby putting all of the at-risk elderly citizens in the uk in a really perilous position.

  I think the U.K's inept Right Wing Government has actually back-pedalled somewhat on the " Herd Immunity" nonsense. Even if a bit of that is true, immunity cannot be passed on, so those that survive do so, those that die do so. Immunity is doubtful, especially against a new strain, and those that have had it may have long lasting lung damage, making them less able to manage in the future.

  They are now doing what their evident mantra tells them to do, " Too Little Too Late".

  They are finally closing Schools etc, but NOW would be the time to put the Country on some sort of managed Lockdown. They will not do this until later.

  Their policy, of too little too late, will cost live and jobs etc etc

  God, I despair of this useless lot, headed by a Clown of a P.M.

  a while back, we had a saturday wedding reception for a brother and sister from our kingdom hall.

  the reception ended at midnight.

  most of us got home at around 1:00 a.m. our sunday public talk meeting started at 9:30 a.m. .

  One guy who really made me laugh, I can't remember if the Post was on here or elsewhere, but he said he fell asleep at an outdoor Convention, and people told him afterwards they could see a Rainbow from his dribble.
