  How Many Out There Have to Hide or Be Stealthy When They Visit This Site? I know I do.

  i cannot look at this site freely, it would make my hubby and son very upset.

  i have to hide what i'm looking at, or try to view this page very late or very early in the morning.

  hubby has taken to getting up at 11:30pm or later, to see what i'm doing on the computer.

  What was life like for you as a JW teenager?

  in the wt's illistrations they portray jw teenagers as happy, together group.

  my experinace is that the jw teenagers in the cong were some of the bitchyist backstabbing arse holes i'll ever meet.. it was unheard of for us to engage in group "wholesome activity" as show in the wt's illistrations.

  the competition amongst the girls for the handsome, sane and elders sons were cut throat.

  I'm still a teenager so I don't think I should really post here but I'm turning 20 in August so....I remember middle school I was always bullied by the "cool" kids for being different. I had only a few friends at school. I remember when my mom caught me jerkin off to a swimsuit calendar I got, I hid myself in the bathroom with my gameboy lol. My dad was never a witness and I loved spending time with him on the weekends though. In high school freshman year my dad fell off a tree and became paralyzed. All the brothers at the KH noticed me for a while then. In tenth grade I was constantly harassed by a girl who would show me her body but I would be a good jw boy and turn away (I kinda regret not looking lol). In my senior year I remember being with a *omg* worldly girl alone and I kept on wondering if she was gonna do anything to me but nothing happened lol then I decided to break the rules and found a sister and dated her secretly! Lol half of all my childhood friends from the hall are now gone though. I shouldve been a bad kid.

  OK, What is this summer's District Convention Theme?

  Flicka- you are right, the last assembly I went to in November there was a guest speaker from bethel or something and all I can remember is going to taco bell for lunch lol the best part of the assembly!

  The Governing Body was at the meeting tonight

  first thursday meeting in a couple of months ...

  the whole congregation bible/book study was praise and worship of the governing body!.

  When the Elders Decide to Disfellowship

  the watchtower (and their adherents) claim to be guided by the spirit of jehoover, so when they decide to disfellowship, it would be logical to think that this is god's decision (thats if they really are lead by the spirit of jehoover).

  but, the dilemma is, why do they need to give the one being disfellowshipped 7 days to appeal?

  if jehoover wants this person out of satans organization, then why give him 7 days to appeal his (jehoovers) decision?

  I hate the fact that the Governing Body makes disfellowshipping be like the worst thing that can happen to you. I'm probably gonna be disfellowshipped one day cuz honestly I don't regret doing the things I've done. If there is one thing I'm kinda scared of its just losing the ability to talk with my family.

  I remember the week we had some special talk (like around the world I think) I read that they needed someone to record and 'share' the talk. I commented that a kingdom ministry said that recording talks and sharing them online wasn't recommended but they never answered me back. Weird.

  What are the worst pictures in My Book of Bible Stories?

  a few comments from muddy waters and mummatron on another thread peaked my curiosity and led me to revisit some of the illustrations in the my book of bible stories.

  i don't appear to have my old copy from when i was a child (thankfully), so i checked out the images over on watchtower.org where the entire book can be read online.

  the images below are taken from what is displayed on that website, although it wouldn't surprise me if there are equally awful images that haven't been used.. so which of the images below are the most grotesque and inappropriate for children?
