  i have served 20 years as an elder, 5 years as an ms. was on the district committee in 2010, held various positions on the district , circuit, and rbc level.

  probably been on more than 100 judicial committees and even an appeals committee.

  was the coordinator in our congregation and deleted because adult child was df ( i kicked him out at the time of his wrongdoing, but that wasn't enough for thr brothers).

  after living a life where individualism and almost everything else is wrong, you kinda go crazy with excitement when you finally can be yourself.

  i guess that's why i started to run crazy with ideas and had such a burning desire to change myself and to find myself and to figure out who i was and now who i should be.

  i wanted to be in stark contrast to the org.

  you were the first person to begin to to awaken on here after I woke up... so it's been a year and a half since then .. I'm so glad to see you made it out..

  I'm ready to move on from all things JW and exJW... I find my less and less interested in all this ... reading and posting.... blah bla ..

  Any way you were always a very special interest of mine on here and I just wanted to say Hi and Bye and I wish you well in all you ever do

  i can't fathom it.

  if i asked anyone in the last couple halls i've been in they wouldn't know.

  it would seem to me that news like that would race around a circuit and spread like wildfire over the country.

  CAN YOU BE AN 'APOSTATE' IF YOU WERE NEVER BAPTIZED?

  this subject came up with a friend of mine on facebook the other day.

  he was never officially baptized as a witness and i believe he is now a born again christian.. does crooklyn consider someone an 'apostate' if you were never actually a full-fledged member but ended up leaving?

  i was talking to my jw daughter the other day and she surprisingly asked me what i believe now.

  i stated i am now atheist and my reasons.

  among other things she asked 'what is the purpose of life, then?

  Turing's homosexuality resulted in a criminal prosecution in 1952, when homosexual acts were still illegal in the United Kingdom. He accepted treatment with female hormones (chemical castration) as an alternative to prison. Turing died in 1954, just over two weeks before his 42nd birthday, from cyanide poisoning. An inquest determined that his death was suicide; his mother and some others believed his death was accidental. On 10 September 2009, following an Internet campaign, British Prime MinisterGordon Brown made an official public apology on behalf of the British government for "the appalling way he was treated." As of May 2012, a private member's bill was put before the House of Lords which would grant Turing a statutory pardon if enacted

  ...as far as I know God doesn't grant pardons to suicide.. especially atheist ones

  sad 42 is to young to die .. especially if it's because it's illegal to be who you are
